Just to make it clear the Dino mask community are indeed another branch of furries that use a Dino mask base because it’s more affordable than actual fur suits they don’t really have that much of a difference from furrys

0:52 to answer your question as a furry and someone who owns 2 dino masks, the dino mask community in my experience usually falls under the furry umbrella, so most dino maskers are furries. but there definitely are exceptions, just as there is in anything :3

I am not allowed to be a furry but my parents are just fine with me making a dino mask, so I just call my self a dino masker, but not a furry, since I am not allowed to be. So I an one of the cases of the exceptions. But I have no problem with furries and if anything I do like the furry community a lot and definitely support! So yes not all dino maskers are furries but most are

If anyone is confused here’s some helpful stuff! Dino mask furries either like Dino’s, or can’t always afford suits, as they are VERY expensive. This is the cheaper way, but can still cost hundreds of dollars to make. Even Dino furries can have real fur suits too! As for me, I can’t afford a real suit, or afraid to get scammed + I don’t have skill to make a furry head yet. BUT I make dinomask ones, 3 so far. They are a lot easier, and it’s really fun to paint. (I put fur on some of mine) but like Real fur suits, mines jaw can’t really move (more of an error with the neck piece connected to head, but it’s ok.
