I'm English, but 15 years ago I was living/working in LA. Late one night after a fight with my girlfriend I drove to Griffith park, parked-up and just walked, thinking about the argument. I found myself at a picnic table with a huge tree across it and graffiti all over it . As I paced about feeling a bit sorry for myself, I realized all the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up and I felt sick! I'd never felt so frightened in my life! There was a feeling of pure evil coming from the darkness in the trees! I left quickly and soon forgot about the incident! Then a year ago I saw a video on YT about Table 29 and realized that's where I was all those years ago! Maybe I got off lightly!

I heard she jumped off the letter H. When she landed she landed on her feet. Completely fracturing her pelvis. She then rolled down into a dark canyon. I can't remember exactly but I think she was conscious at least a day after that. In pain and not being able to move or no one to see her. She was a somewhat successful actress in New York city in plays. So she decided to try her luck in movies. Her and her father moved to LA. And she had some minor parts in movies. She started getting despondent. Because she didn't think she was going to do any better. So she decided to end it all. What makes this story so tragic is the very next day a letter came to her home. Saying she had been picked for the staring row of a new movie that was to be made. If she had only waited one more day. Some doctor's say she was probably still alive in the canyon when the letter came to her house. I feel bad for her. But she was young and beautiful and her whole life ahead of her. I don't understand it.

Hollywood wanna-be starlette Peg Entwistle committed suicide in 1937 by jumping off the Hollywood sign, back in the 1930's the sign read Hollywoodland. She climbed to the 13th letter "D", and jumped, the only gig she ever had acting was a small part in the 30's movie "Thirteen Women". She started a frightening trend, and many others have followed her lead of shattered dreams by jumping off that sign through the years. Yes, there are ghosts in those-there hills ,my friend. I love L.A., I was raised there (since 1963), and left in 1985, I still miss it. Great video, man. Bob. G
