Visiting the Middle of the World in Quito, Ecuador 🇪🇨

Ecuador gets its names from being situated on the equator, and we couldn’t pass through Quito without visiting the middle of the world. After looking at Ecuador's Mitad del Mundo from afar, we decided to visit a nearby museum that was more accurately on the equator line and that offered a number of fun experiments that could only be done in the center of there world. We learned about the traditional process of shrinking human and animal heads, as the indigenous Ecuadorian people did just three decades back. This place was such a fun spot to visit in Quito, and we were so glad we were able to squeeze it in before heading out of Ecuador. 🇪🇨

Chad & Claire, thanks for feedback. This made my day. 😁 It meant a lot to me, since you guys are my teachers and inspire me to get started by watching your top notch and amazing video. With your charisma, I was so enticed and hooked to the making video . My youngest daughter shows my how to use iMovie on 9/16/2021. I described this great video making tool for the 1st time and rest is history. I got hooked and made close to 100 short videos (like fast food kind, quick but not good quality), in just 6 weeks. Just recently, it came to me all the 100+ dishes & baking (mostly Chinese cuisine, northern, southern, Hunan. Szechuan, Cantonese, Taiwan), I can make videos on dishes I make. I made all these during Covid (before then my daughter and my wife can attest I never cook). 😁 and all that practice makes perfect. Last week “Dean’s R U Hungry? “ came to my mind all of sudden and this cute Panda character also pops up in mind. I Name Panda TienTien, so it is using my nickname. So now I am ready to make more “ R U Hungry 😋” video. By watching your videos, I learned to think out of box and try to improve on my video making quality. Seeing your high quality and top notch video, makes me want to improve and strive to be better. Quantity vs Quality, I will take high Quality anyday. And I am having great fun doing it. Chad and Claire, I want thank you both for bring all of us on your wonderful journey around the world. It has been very educational about the various countries/cultures and it is a o much fun. I sympathize with your Galapagos yearning. Years ago my sister was first AD for a movie called "Master and Commander", in the course of which she got to spend 100 days in the Galapagos. I was so envious! In the extended DVD of the movie, they included a doc titled "100 Days" about that experience. My sister made one of her very rare screen appearances in that.
