Believe it or not the real reason some people don't care about going to prison or jail is because that's all they know. If you've been a criminal and locked up off and on most of your life you get into a routine. You get your meals, hang out with your friends/associates, still get your smokes and drugs. Life is hard when you get out of prison and some people don't want to do the work to change. Being institutionalized is very real.

Sadly, the coward that took my son was nothing but that! He faked that he wanted a back tattoo that afternoon, concealed his identity behind a mask sunglasses and clothing that covered every inch of his skin in 125-degree weather, so my son wouldn't recognize him. He never threw hands with my son. That's why he took a gun and hid behind a mask like he did. He was witnessed by two other people there that afternoon, and Steven was found right after by his girlfriend seconds later, unfortunately, with no fighting chance . I don't want to go into details, but the coward didn't get enough time for what he took from me and my family. I hope he's looking over his shoulder every day where he's at. What goes around always comes back. Thank you for keeping the story about my son respectful I appreciate you 🙏 life isn't worth the politics and the back and fourth on social media to take a life so sensously, to lose your loved ones either behind bars or to be placed in the ground. I hope many that see these videos learn to just live life to its fullest, don't fall into the lifestyle, it affects everyone, especially the family you leave behind one day. Please reconsider what your future holds ahead. I miss and love my son dearly no matter what anyone has to say good or bad. Unfortunately, theres a lot of miserable people in the world that find joy in others' pain. Our loss has been extremely devastating, and I would never wish it on a mother or family.

Most likely he was planning the whole thing out and knew he needed to get a stolen car in order to the hit. He can't do it in his own car. What a waste of a creative life, of being a father, a son, or a sweetheart. Gone forever. All the lives he could have touched...all the kids he might have steered into a better life than running the streets with danger. His life sounded so promising, but now, all his loved ones are left with is an empty dreams and space where this young man was, and their memories. Did he die a hero's death? Over money? Over his woman or his child? No. He died over nothing. Street cred on who's the toughest, the biggest threat. All his mama will have left to hold is a t-shirt with his picture on it. His child will be more vulnerable now, without a father in his life, the odds just went up that he will end up living a similar life and fate. It's all so tragic and unnecessary. It didn't have to happen. Young men: THINK about your own life, your babies and family FIRST! You aren't just gambling with your life, but your families, too. If you don't want the responsibility of a child, PLEASE, don't have them! The deck is already stacked against them. My son didn't have his father because of alcohol and d ope. Be safe, Lamont. Never heard of the 25ers. I'm going to assume that it might be a PC prison gang as the established prison gangs in California won't allow any new ones to form. I'm a go out on a limb here and assume that was probably what the beef was about. Edit: After a bit more research and indeed the 25ers are a prison gang that was created in the protective custody in California. They along with the GBG (Gay Boy Gangsters) are the biggest in the PC and beef it with one another. I believe that's probably what the issue was between Savage and the guy who killed him. May he rest easy.
