Visiting The Original Ramones Graves!!

On two separate vacations, I visited all four graves of the original Ramones lineup!! Dee Dee and Johnny were in California, Joey was in New Jersey, and Tommy was in New York. Afterwards, I was hit with the surprise of Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg in New York!!
Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone are in Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Joey Ramone is in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Tommy Ramone is in West Babylon, New York.

Ow, busted my nose again, I gotta watch out for that. It often amazes me cemeteries with printed maps, but they will do it. I’d predict Colma has the most, though. The spirit of Rock lives on in you? I think all of your viewers knew that already, but nice to know! Neat to see so many cats at cemeteries, too. I don’t remember seeing any when I would visit them. If only I had known about and appreciated the Ramones when I was six (the age I was when they played their final shows.) I've seen Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg twice now: the first time was at the Gramercy Theatre too, and the second was in Fairfield, CT at a warehouse-sized venue.

Super cool - I was just looking for Joey last weekend, but it was just after sunset and I had to abandon my quest because of darkness. :( I visited John and Dee Dee not long after the latter was laid to rest. Gotta go see Tommy the next time I'm out on Long Island. Never saw the band when Tommy was drumming, but I did see the core with Marky and Ritchie (and Clem!) fifteen times over the years. Gabba gabba hey!
