Great vid! Cool to see the famous spots. Greatest show of all time. Breaking Bad is right behind it💯

Thank you! And yes, Breaking Bad is in my top 2 series as well. We saw Walter White's house in Albuquerque back in May. It's in my New Mexico video. Unfortunately the owner was ready for us, started filming us, and when I tried to make conversation, she was rude and basically told us to get lost.

@@TravelwithTrey I'll check out your New Mexico vid for sure. Ha, Day in the life of a vlogger getting booted out! She had to know the greatness from that show if she let them shoot there or purchased the home after the fact. Wonder if that secret door in the floor that goes to the crawl space is still there?🤔
@TravelwithTrey2 жыл бұрын
The house is surrounded by a tall chain link fence with a sign that reads No Trespassing and another that reads Under Video Surveillance. It boggles the mind that someone would buy such a house, knowing full well the importance of its role in the show's run, and then become aggressively territorial and belligerent to people making a pilgrimage to see the place. She literally was waiting and watching as our car came up the road - the house is in a cul-de-sac - and must have realized we weren't one of the neighbors, and correctly assumed we were there for photos or videos. After she ran us off, I talked to her neighbor across the street who was working in his garden, he kind of just smiled and shrugged, as if he were embarrassed. That was the worst encounter I've had in my four years of vlogging.

Sad to see that Italians have not held on to the heritage the way other cultures have. You rarely find any authentic Italians stores and neighborhoods anymore.
@TravelwithTrey Жыл бұрын
Very true. Always amazed every number of years how Mulberry Street in Manhattan seems to shed Italian businesses and now is just a shadow of its former self.
@Cassxowary Жыл бұрын
That’s because this isn’t Italy. With every generation Italy gets further away. Because it’s not Italy.

And Italians and then Italian-US Americans weren’t the first ones or be there, First Nations people are, and before that, nonhuman animals. Who thankfully are still there too despite everything done to them too, judging on that deer on the lawn.
@Cassxowary Жыл бұрын
@@TravelwithTreyyes, things change. Just like when Italians first arrived (while First Nations people were being put through hell by those who took almost everything from them)…
@TravelwithTrey Жыл бұрын
@HannahMatthau The previous comment was about the changing face of neighborhoods and how Italians (I am Italian myself) have not been diligent about preserving their culture , not the assimilation of cultures and genocide of peoples.

You are quite the actor - love how you meshed the Tony Soprano scenes, with your real-time responses in the opening of this video…VERY WELL DONE! Also, I like how you were smoking that stogie, as you were driving in your car - just like a mafiosi would’ve done! You should also be complimented on your editing! I’ve seen some YT videos where the editing was cringeworthy, and it almost made the video unwatchable…but not yours buddy! Another great job by you 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼

Cool video. I can’t believe you were at pizzaland and didn’t drive a few blocks down to the dock on the Passaic River where Christopher got his ass kicked in episode one. The dock was used twice in filming. Then a two minute drive from the dock is Cozzarelli’s funeral home and Furios house. It was great though You should do a series of these!

Maybe dont like, stand in front of shop owners and say "This is the place made famous by Sopranos" thats pretty insensitive
@TravelwithTrey Жыл бұрын
Insensitive to what? You don't think people know that their establishment is being visited by tourists because of the show? In fact, I bought something at each location to patronize and left positive reviews. Maybe don't like, comment on things that you don't understand.
