@@adaj472 I disagree. The ads were false advertising. And Dicki didn't teach Tony anything like they described in the show. If anything Dicki abandoned him. Sil has a wig now....? Jr was never vindictive like he was in this movie and the over acting was pretty bad. So the sopranos and the trailers for this movie say that Dicki taught him everything he knows, yet Tony really has no idea what's going on in this movie. Then dicki dies, not teaching Tony anything. And so much for the crooked cop that supposedly killed Chris's dad...... they retconed the sopranos to make an American gangster spinoff in the sopranos universe..... they ruin everything... they really do.....😔

@@Beachhousefanboy Um, that person was ME, and I loved the Sopranos - specifically a huge fan of James Gandolfini. Back when the show was on, my boyfriend & I would go to our S friends’ house (they were South Philly Italians) on Sundays, they would cook all day & we’d gather to watch & hang. We all loved the show & specifically loved James’ portrayal of Tony. This went on for 4 years. Every Sunday night during the season. When he died IRL, we were sorta heartbroken. U know, LIKE ALL FANS OF AN ACTOR OR MUSICIAN ARE WHEN THEY DIE.🙄 It’s not like I’m some insane fanatic either. I just happen to care that he’s gone & felt terrible that his young son (at the time) lost his dad. Why do YOU feel the need to make an anonymous stranger feel like a POS for leaving a 2 sentence comment in a KZbin video comment section? I cant imagine having.... and then losing... James Gandolfini as a Father. And then having to walk in his foot steps after it all. So many difficult things to throw at a young man, but he's been nothing but graceful about it and I'm beyond impressed at his humble nature. I know his father would be absolutely swelling with pride to see what an incredible man his son has shaped up to be. All the best to you Michael! Life has some great things in store for you!!!

I remember when his Dad died. I literally wept. I loved that man. Hands down, one of the best series, ever! So I was super excited to see the Many Saints of Newwark. I went to the movies to get the full experience. Let's just say, underwhelming but it wasn't the acting. All the characters were excellent. Sil, Paulie...spot on. It's just the story itself was lacking. But when I saw Michael Gandolfini come on screen...tears welled up. It was like looking at his father. That old familiar, handsome face that America loved. He did a great job and his father would be so proud. So am I saying it was a horrible movie..Hell No...I just wanted more. Hope to see more of Michael in the future.

Imagine being in his shoes and just realizing how praised your father is and seeing "The Sopranos" show after the fact he passed away...At least he has a vivid show of his father that he can hold close to himself and watch it from time to time when he wants to get a good laugh from how is father acted on the show...I know its a roller coaster of a emotions and he was so brave playing a young Tony Soprano. He's going to continue to do amazing and i hope we can see him more on screen
