Simple and straightforward airport to use and navigate, needs a few upgrades but so does plenty of other airports. I live in Cheshire so can choose MAN or LPL to use depending on destination and flight times/ price 😀

Loved the review and we love Liverpool airport too, Jet2 are flying from there next year, it’s so much easier and more relaxed than Manchester ✈️✈️✈️

Dont forget folks its not that many years ago that Mancs priced itself out of the low cost Easy Jet/RA market(landing fees etc) and you could only go by them from John Lennon Liverpool. The Polish? owned Coach firm ran shuttles from Mancs to John Lennon down the M62, all happy days 😂 An edit I mistook Jet2 instead of EasyJet apologies folks 🙄 old age strikes again

While it maybe the best Airport in the UK and appeals to travellers is the fact that it's quite a small airport and can process passengers faster, where as Manchester is pretty much at high capacity most of the time.

It's an efficient airport because there's barely any airlines flying from there. I cleared Don Mueang in Bangkok, Asia's oldest airport security in about 5 mins for a domestic flight. Give me Heathrow or anyone with big major carriers, not this ryan air garbage we see all over the north.
