anand mani upadhyay brother a friend on social media can't sponsor you a US visa. Yeas if the person sponsors you belongs to your country then they can sponsor you. If you both don't belong to the same country then you can't apply for sponsorship.

You can submit letter along with your application. Also you will need the sponsor letter at the time of arrival

Sponsor letter format can be the same but you have to get the letter from your friend who is in HKG. Ask him to prepare a sponsor letter for you and do notary (if applicable)

The format of this letter is completely wrong and backwards.. Other than that the only thing that's useful in this video is the information in the body of the letter.
