@MegaBreadvan you make nice quality videos, I slap things together with some notes scribbled on recycled paper...and my handwriting is like a doctor's so sometimes I can't understand what I've written 😅

@MegaBreadvan I'll begin this series this week and I'll explain why my videos don't focus that much on buses, despite being a long running bus enthusiast with over 20 years of involvement in active bus preservation.

@@patricksmodels My writing is pretty awful too, as you could see on the Christmas card. Blame using a keyboard, I don't handwrite often these days. The graphic design side of me makes me a bit of a perfectionist sometimes, when editing videos, which can be annoying. In the next few days I'll try doing a Christmassy video, I was going to start filming last night, but I had a bit of a mental block come on. Christmas is always a strange time of year and the only period when I actually feel "homesick".

@@patricksmodels Each to their own. I went from liking cars from being very young to buses when I was about 8 or 9. Blame my Dad's work colleague for the latter. He leant me the TPC Midland Red Vol 1 & 2. I was hooked. He must have been very trusting as they cost a fortune. I have Vol 1 myself now.

I remember Stevensons just about. My friend lived in Burton in about 1990 and they ran some of the buses there

Have only been through Burton once, but I remember that in the early 90's Stevensons ran a joint service with Midland Fox, from Swadlincote to Leicester. On one occasion I got a photo of one of their Alexander (Belfast) bodied Tigers in Leicester.

Oh really feel for you, not brilliant at this time of year. I've had headaches from a wayward wisdom tooth. Hope the video cheers you up. Most of it done back in August when it was sunny and hot. LOL
