Julie, I am on "your side", but I agree the person will truly have to understand you, and his own defined, objective success. I helped my own immediate relatives with this issue, and it is never easy.

I needed to hear this. I am 10 weeks into vision therapy for CI and I am making some improvements but some days I find myself getting frustrated that it’s not faster and that I still have uncomfortable symptoms - and whine about it. So being reminded that mindset is key to success really helps!

vision therapy completely changed my life it helped me so much, been doing for about a year, also did vestib therapy. vision therapy helped me be able to tolerate much more busy environments. ive been through some other physical issues and done PT for them also so i understand the resilience it can take to keep going. its a pain in the butt to keep going but it really really helped alot.

It will be 2 years in October that I started and continue to do vision therapy. I do the vision exercises at home a few times a week and return to the vision therapy center every 6 months for an evaluation. I have shown significant process and my goal is to get off prisms entirely. It’s hard work but it is really paying off. I was also told by my vision therapist that I need to continue to do my vision exercises to maintain my level of progress.

I have been doing vision therapy for 2 1/2 years and still see no improvement- seems worse. I go for Vision therapy 2 times a week and daily eye exercises. Its getting me down and the thought of having to have surgery is freaking me out. I have perfect vision but my eye muscles are not and at times see double vision. This was a good video for me because of where I am mentally with all this. I am scared so I will try to be more positive. I dont know if its too late for me.

I have horizontal double vision. MRI negative. Labs negative for MS or MG. My muscles around my eye is sore all the time. I do grind and clench my teeth at night. I went back to wearing my night guard. Double vision is worse when driving so I use a patch. Still waiting to see the neuro optomologist. So they are waiting to let me use prisms.

I think you missed the point. Me myself and a lot of people as me, would give every money to change our condition (I mean healthy eyes) and we would definitely sacrifice and dedicate everything to achieve our goals. But in the back of our heads is that thought that in the end of the day you might have end up with empty wallet and no satisfying results. And that’s the point.

Its up to each person to decide what chances they want to take given the abundance of information available, case studies and testimonials. This is why I share A LOT of success stories on youtube and weekly to those on my email list. The decision comes down to the individual.

@@visontherapy well...that’s not true. A while ago I asked you to share with us all just a few success stories on KZbin of ADULTS who had strabismus and now are “fixed” and you couldn’t give me even one trustworthy example! Most of the videos from your playlist you sent me were kids. And that’s a big difference and that’s a huge factor to help us think that we would love to go for your therapy, but it’s highly risky.

@@visontherapy I don’t wanna be rude but you don’t even listen to me. Didn’t I just tell you that I went through the videos!? And didn’t I just tell you what I found there!? And again, you want to convince me and other people by the video you just sent me!? Are you kidding me?! On this video dr Julie presents only two people, which one of it is a little kid and the other is an adult. What’s more, these are just pictures that show someone who might not even exist! And like I said before this is just only one adult that allegedly is cured now. Nobody knows who he is. Why don’t you just present him in person. Why can’t we watch at least few adults who had strabismus and now they are cured by your therapy and they give their testimonies!? I will tell you why. Because they don’t exist! If I’m wrong prove it and I’ll be more than happy to join your healing program. Otherwise please don’t give us this fake and expensive hope that we might be cured.

What people who are suffering from vision issues need to know is ... DOES YOUR THERAPY WORK? ARE THERE LEGITIMATE STUDIES THAT SHOW SIGNIFICANT RESULTS/IMPROVEMENTS WITH PEOPLE'S SIGHT ISSUES. OR ... ARE YOU JUST ANOTHER SNAKE OIL SALESMAN LOOKING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK OFF OF PEOPLE'S MISERY? Are you able to honestly and legitimately answer these questions.

Great question. I understand your pessimism given the many dashed hopes and failures that many of our patients have faced before working with us. I do invite you to check out the many testimonials on our website both in text and video format. We also share new ones weekly via email to those on our list. We are however ultimately not in the business of convincing anyone who may be inclined to believe otherwise. Thanks for being here and commenting!

I’m sorry, I’m interested in the topic and I want to find out how it works-but I’m having a hard time watching an eye sight specialist wearing glasses. Seems she hasn’t even figured out how to correct her own vision. Next video, at least wear contacts and give the illusion that you have the answers.
@visontherapy
@visontherapy Жыл бұрын
Hi there, I hear ya. And while it may seem like a valid concern, what you may not have realized is that Dr. Julie has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced her prescription from what it once was and in fact is choosing to wear these mostly out of habit, part of her personal fashion aesthetics and also because she is fine with the minor prescription she has and where it currently is. And one thing is for certain: it isn't getting worse. With that said, it still does not negate the fact that many people who used to be in very high prescription prisms either significantly reduce them or eliminate them completely. So while they may seem related, the are two unrelated facts. Thanks for your comment! Btw, would wearing contacts simply to avoid someone saying be a more authentic option?
