Long post: Thanks for the great review. I have used Vistaprint several times in the past for personalized Christmas cards and a few mugs. They have worked out really well and I love the results. So, I did a daily photo post (208 days!) during the pandemic and friends have suggested I do a photo book version so I decided to go on the Vistaprint site and sure enough they do them. Even with editing out certain daily posts, I'm already at about 50 pages using the Landscape view with about a 100 pages more to go. After working on it for about a month, off and on, I realized I never even looked up a review about how good their photo books are. I got in a bit of a panic ... geez, what a relief after watching your video. I will now (with no looking back) continue with the book. It looks like I will have to do two volumes (28 x 21) because of the page limitations, which is going to make it extremely pricey ... guessing around $100+ Canadian for both volumes. It's mostly for my personal copy, but if friends want to buy a copy ... well, they will have to cough up the change :) Oh, one thing I have noticed as I go through my photo posts. I do have a lot of text along with the photos. There are some limitations on what you can do with the text with Vistaprint ... E.G: you cannot highlight and use italics which I did a lot of in my posts online. Just an observation. Cheers!

Thank you for the excellent review. I just used VistaPrint for creating large calendars using my photos and I was very impressed with the quality and speedy (2 day) delivery given the very reasonable Boxing Day price. I am now thinking about using their service to create a photo book. My images include a lot of panoramas (ex. 16x9 aspect ratio and wider) that I would like to have span two pages. Do you know if VistaPrint can accommodate this layout or can you recommend another service that produces 'lay flat' photo books that would be better choice? I live in Canada and just became a subscriber to your channel. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Thanks for review. I use Vistaprint but have found the images in the finished product to be slightly darker than they appear in the editor (even using the Image Enhancement option). Do you have a recommendation for Australian users for a company that best matches the colour in the end product to that being uploaded? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

The large size 28*21 cms, is that with album closed or open? In short, size of one page or two pages flat out open?

Hi, you talked about saving photos first and then uploading to Mixbook cloud to avoid losing resolution as one of your best practices. Unfortunately I cannot find that video, would you please send me the link or an explanation . Thank you!!

It only applied to Apple Photos. Just export your photos full size into a folder on your computer and upload them from there to Mixbook.

What I don't understand is why none of these companies list a quantity discount. I need to print a dozen books for a funeral, and I have been unable to find a discount for quantity or even for shipping! Either the shipping is free over a certain amount - And that's OK - or they charge the full amount x 12 for 12 books. I contacted one of the companies and they said they might try to give me a small discount on the shipping. That is not acceptable.😢

They did a good job on my business cards, but I wasn't impressed with the sample printing of images they sent.
