Your bag is gorgeous! May I suggest that if you do intend to use it frequently that you apply a single sided iron on light interfacing over the embroidery on the inside of the bag. This will secure the thread tails, keep them from catching on anything you put in the bag and prolong the life of all your beautiful work by protecting it from wear or damage when it is laundered. Thank you for sharing your lovely project. It is inspiring!

When I used to go to a patchwork class we always used to say “just sew a button on it” if we made a mistake or if our seams didn’t quite meet!! Made me smile at the memory. I used to do embroidery but got into other projects and gave my daughter the embroidery floss. I'm quilting and crocheting, and your embroidering gave me an idea. I think I'll be incorporating the embroidery with the quilting. Wow. That's a beautiful tote bag.

The bag looks amazing. I have used the wash away to make Christmas ornaments on felt. This has worked fine but do not over agitate the felt or it will ‘fluff’ up. There are embroidery designers out there that sell their patterns preprinted on to it.

To me, her designs are a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian style with the organic shapes from nature. Your choice of fabrics and natural colors of threads are beautiful! One question, I’ve never used an embroidery hoop with stand. Do you have a source for the hoop stand? Thanks!
