I really hope some lucky little kid happened to be looking out his or her bedroom window as they were going to bed and could see the beautiful light dance from the village perspective. I like the idea that we are both watching from our sides at the same time. I wonder what it looked like to them. Thank you Nick for sharing this beautiful moment.

0:50 dog: "K guys. I know you're here for me but I aint feelin' that great, so I asked my master to sub in and at least give you something to bother sticking around for. He thinks he's all the rage with these glowing sticks but he never throws them. I gotta warn you, you're gonna to get all excited for like 14 minutes like he's going to throw them for you BUT HE NEVER THROWS THEM FOR YOU. It's the most daft game of fetch I swear to dog. Anyway here he is, you can drool at the glowing sticks, just remember he's not ever gonna throw them for you. I'm off to download a way to reverse-After-Effects this video. Leave any animal rights groups information you have below, I could use some at this point."

dViz - Mixed Reality, AR, VR, Sports, & More wtf this is the best comment. How come, two years nobody answered to this masterpiece?

well to see the world through a dogs eyes. is to see it in black and white. the depth of a dogs reality is governed by play. territory borders, and the story of scents. a dogs will to survive. solely depends on the pack he or she is part of. or they become bandits going from master to master till none. lol.. prolly not as fun as that comment. however my sincere effort to approximate a dogs world comes from a place that knows and loves dogs. i grew up in a pack of 20 dogs in the Philippines,. im here today because a brave alpha male lost his life protecting me from a pack of starving homeless dogs. its a moment in my life i often revisit. because i honor his sacrifice.
@MrKolocop4 жыл бұрын
@@grandmaster-grouch dogs don't see in black and white, they have both blue and yellow cones in their eyes, meaning their sight is anything from black to white to blue to yellow. Also the idea of an Alpha dog is a disproven theory about wolves that was disproven by the man who made the theory on the first place. What he thought was an alpha dog in a pack was actually simply a familial unit of wolves, mother, father, and cubs, and the supposed alpha was the mother of the cubs defending its children.
@grandmaster-grouch4 жыл бұрын
@@MrKolocop fascinating it looks like i have some history to catch up on. The nature of the alpha male is known across mammalians. Ive trained fighting dogs. the idea of what a alpha is through a dog i feel Ive extensive experience, I can control my dogs by way of breath a sigh or any given clap click or slap. i can ignite aggressiveness with a defensive posture or attack stance. or i can command absolute obedience even when on full attack. I grew up with about 25 dogs and currently own 2. Ive retired from dog fighting a young mans game. if theres a creature i know more than myself and that is a domesticated dog.
@fisty5393 жыл бұрын
@@grandmaster-grouch Damn dude you make dogs fight? I get it's the Philippines but do you really think they like fighting or is it just a way to get money?

You're the person who inspired me to get started with the poi, and this is the very video I watched 10 years ago, which made me felt that, one day, I'd love to have a LED poi set for myself to express my emotions and creativity through dance and poi genuinely and unconditionally like you do. This is such a beautiful synchronicity that today, 10 years later, as I'd completely forgotten about this video and had never watched it again ever since, it suddenly pops back in my feed "out the blue" (or out of the divine), given that I finally ordered my LED poi set...3 days ago. Thank you so much for the inspiration, dear Nick. Wishing you all the best and sending lots of Love on your way 🙏✨❤

Coming from both a techy spinner and a dancer, watching you dance with poi always makes me want to pick poi up more and dance with them as I get caught up in my dance practice. Been an inspiration from the beginning back in highschool. Good luck on your life's journey and making the poi permaculture a reality.

@theera51453 жыл бұрын
What you can also do is google when the sun is going to set and it will give you the exact time so it’s fairly easy to plan bc it usually doesn’t take very long for it to get dark after the sun sets. So if you know the sun is setting at 5:45pm you begin around 5:40pm and in 15 minutes it will be a lot darker when you end.
