Yes, it is possible. You can send the Sketchup model into Speckle using our plugin for Sketchup, then receive that data inside Power BI. Steps described here applies for any data coming from any application. Structure of the data may differ. We'll definitely do a tutorial on Sketchup too.

@@SpeckleSystems Hello guys, I have a problem. After transferring my SketchUp model to Speckle and then receiving the data in Power BI, it tells me that data is missing from the table. I have tried with multiple models, modifying instances, definition, tags, etc. in each of them. Is there any video on how to receive this data? ThankU.

Great Tutorial! does it also extract shared parameters if needed ? if i have an extra 4 to 5 parameters for rooms, for example if we have "leasable areas, price per sqft, tenant name" etc.. as shared parameters, does it work ?

Best method now is to download the combined package from Speckle Manager.

Hi. I was extracting the data recently but the ToNameValueRecord wasn't working as I needed to update Speckle . This works fine now, however, now the data I've brought into PowerBI is much less than before so I cannot extract parameters as the record is not there in the first place and so on.. Same model, just updated Speckle and Speckle connector. Any reason for this? Thanks in advance.

Hi , I've followed your processes for installing and extracting rooms, but my Speckle PowerBI Viewer doesn't show my model. It's just a black-white screen. I've tried view extents etc....but I just can't see the model. I can see all the data extracted.....Help, please.

It could be that your Speckle project is not Link Shared which is currently required to display the 3d model. We're working on this, but in the meantime if that doesn't tfix things, come by speckle.community and we'll help out there.

You need to set your project as Link Shareable.
