I really love the user interface on this synth. It's like Massive except it does a much, much better job at communicating what is being used and how. Like, even something as simple as fading the unused oscillators to black if they're off. I especially like how clicking and dragging a LFO highlights all the possible places you can put it. Native Instruments should take some notes.

Great video,Kenny! Thanks for showcasing Vital. I discovered it about a year ago and I'm still picking bits of skull and brain out of the carpet. There's a KZbinr named Unfa who puts out lots of Vital content.

a) This is excellent. As soon as you started working on the synth params, I instantly thought this is both a wonderful synth, and a wonderful synth to recommend to folk I know learning how synthesis works, as I love the animated display of the playback point in the Envs and LFOs - brilliant UI design. b) 12:07 is Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" at 75% speed, and I claim my $100 ;)

Is it possible to use with guitar like you're using a pedal like Boss SY-1? I'm kinda new with vst plugin stuff, I have a guitar and want to play the guitar like a synth and I really liked to play through the Boss SY-1 but I don't want to spend 200 euros in a pedal since I can use it to upgrade my computer. Thanks!

Nice Kenny, thanks. I want to do what you say in the last part of your video , arrange the song by bringing in one synth at a time, but how do you render it to a song one synth at a time? Would sound real nice if I can figure it out. Thanks again man.
@loretoz3 жыл бұрын
Ok I done figured it out, just copy the first track to the right, move the second track to the right just after the first track ends, copy and move the second track to the right , it´s reapedative, as you move the rest of the tracks you just fill in the gaps you leave by copy paste the upper tracks to fill in.

do you know what confuses me, youve done a four bar song, and to build it up at the end you mute tracks and slowly unmute them, and it sounds lovely.. but how do you turn that into a 3 minute song, do you strecth it all out or something.. Im a traditional musicians, play the guitar, and if a traditional musicians wants a 3 minute song, they play for 3 minutes.. all a bit to new to me, creatng music like this, so i dont think i even have the basic concept yet :-)
