Race Shop Build: 2020 Honda CRF250R

The primary goal of this project bike was to keep it a mid-budget build. XPR Motorsports worked some magic on our CRF250R making it one of the fastest and most controllable 250Fs we’ve ridden. Essentially, what we settled on was just top-end work on the engine, with a piston, Vortex ECU, Rekluse clutch, and a few other bolt-on parts. XPR could have gone much further and worked on more of the bike, but this is what they wanted to showcase as a lot of bang for the buck. With help from Factory Connection, they had the suspension dialed in just right and DeCal Works finished off the look of the bike with a unique design. Definitely a rad bike but that exhaust seems pretty hard to get your hands on. I did a little looking a while back to see what’s available for my bike and it’s on their site but I couldn’t find anywhere that i would be able to purchase it from.

My definition of budget is the whole bike for under 5k. Also looking to get 240-400 hours out of a top end. If you need that performance then I guess you need it, but I know I’m too slow to notice the difference

Single exhaust as that is extra weight and does nothing makes no sense (meaning the dual exhaust) and makes it WIDE/top heavy.

Nothing on the budget about this bike. And why put a 1300 exhaust before suspension? Ouch guys we watch these things looking for advice. When y’all videos become just as in only a comercial, you’ll loose trust.

Someone already pointed it out but they did put on factory connection suspension. I also wanted to say they didn’t touch the bottom end or go crazy with a bunch of smaller aftermarket parts which I think makes it budget. Also know that budget doesn’t always mean cheap but is often used in that sense. No hate I just think these guys did an awesome job making this video and hate to see someone get upset.
