👍 I'm 58 . Started on a 69 z-50 in 1970 on the farm . Raced moto for a couple decades . Still ride today , cruise around dual sport'n . Miss the MX , and getting old sucks 😖

I think the most overlooked part of jetting a two stroke is getting a throttle slide with the right cutaway. That Yamaha came with a 7 and almost always works better with an 8 or a 9. 2017+ KTMs come with a 4 and they need at least a 5 (2003 KX125) or the 5.75 that came in a 2003 CR125. That or just have the 4 cut to a 5.5 or so. That's mostly for the woods guys. The moto guys don't seem to really care, oddly enough.

Wish straight rhythm would have a 125 a 250 and then a open 2 stroke class with no limits.let these guys build a crazy one off high h.p bike with a maximum disp of say 450 but only 2 strokes.

The main class is open. A few guys have tried 300s and one or two 500s in past years but didn’t like them on SX.
