Short of the aftermarket wheel set and Rekluse auto clutch, I have this exact same build, I did the 450X rear fender as well to drop another 6-7 lbs too. Sadly it takes most of these mods to get the bike where I want it to be and where most I think would like for it to be. I know Honda approached this model with more on road comfort and capability in mind when compared to the rest of the offerings in this segment, but I wanted a Red Japanese KTM 500 EXC and it takes the majority of these mods to get it there. I have $6K+ in aftermarket on mine and while I don't regret it, I doubt I'd do it again if given the opportunity. At this point she'll be around for a while to justify the investment and we will see if it slowly becomes more of a dual sport in time and less of the Enduro I set out to build initially. The suspension overhaul and upgrades from AHM Factory Services definitely transformed the bike, I couldn't be happier with their work. The Vortex ECU and exhaust are a must along with the seat and tire upgrades, everything else is dependent on your individual riding needs, desires, and budget.

8 months ago I bought a Honda 2022 crf450rl the same bike you have right there I already put $4,000 into it and in that was the suspension the stiffest suspension you have ever had on any bike on the planet Earth so I had it all redone$1,000 and still the stiffest suspension in the universe love the bike for the street but don't ever ever ever ever never take this thing in the dirt it will be stiffer than a covered wagon in 1815 think this suspension needs to be jammed into a cannon and shot back over to Japan and say this is what I think of your suspension!!! But really love the bike only for the street and I wanted it to do both!!! The bike does look great though!

Hey man I dont know what they used in this video but check out the 'drc edge 2 tail light' I have one on my 2015 wr450f and you can get an upgraded light board that includes a blinker function in the tail light. Very clean/low profile, has different speeds/patterns for blinkers and will wire up into any bike with a little soldering, good luck brotha

@@PacificNorthwest777 I live in the Northeast. My RL is still mostly stock except for JD tuner and D606 tires. I have yet to start customizing and tuning the bike for hard deep woods but can tell you although it's noticeably heavier it is already very capable off road in the gnarly terrain. Yoshimura system is on the way and will be the start of my build.

If your adding that much offroad stuff to any of those models why not the X bc that basically is a souped up X if you took the lights off. Either way I LOVE it!!

I only have one bitch. Why do all these builders claim huge power gains yet each time I see a dyno chart on the pipe and ecu change the readout shows a minimal gain up to about six grand where’s the increase is a little more apparent yet the increase can’t be termed substantial at maybe a 5 hp gain at the top. As an off-roader and trail rider I don’t get past the six grand too often. I typically short shift and just ride swiftly not FAST. Over coming the sketchy bottom end throttle bs is the greatest improvement for me personally. Just thinking out loud.

I know right. Let’s face it, they probably still use this bike on the street but just can’t say it on camera. But the X or RX is a much better platform to start with.

What cop would pull you over and do an emissions test? As for noise, almost every Harley has been modified to increase noise. Many unbearably so. As long as you ride within the rules of the road, taking a modified dual sport on the road should not result in a citation.

46 HP is what they make with exhaust and Vortex. San Diego Powerhouse has a stage 2 internal kit that bumps it to nearly 60 HP.

There's no real world weight savings on the wheel set. They are slightly lighter rims with more durability.

@@fcalin21 I think you may need to elaborate. Asking "What is the price of the new stuff ?" isn't enough. I kinda agree with you if you are wondering if you need to buy $5000 to $7000 of extras for this motorcycle, to be able to ride it. I am putting a set of hand guards on, radiator guards, a skid plate, eventually, maybe. I want to make sure the springs are the correct rate for my weight. I may also replace the problematic chain, right away, in order to save the cost of the sprockets. Tires will be on the list once the stock ones are worn down a bit more. I think they'll be just fine until I get more comfortable with this bike. For me, this bike stock is so much better than my last bike, that I'll be impressed for a long while already. If/when it begins to hold me back or become dangerous, then I'll look at mods.

Asking the price is the first question before buying . If i can afford or not is not the only question. Spending 10500 euro for 125 kg of metal , rubber and plastic is already absurd. I wanted to know how much do i have to spend for a decent off-road bike.I think that manufacturers sell bikes for off-road and force the clients to spend a lot of money for an inadequate product. If it breaks when you drop it then it is not for off-road.

EXC and L are the street legal models. I'd say the XC is more like the X model.
