Project Two-Stroke: 2021 KTM 300SX Build

We had the chance to test ride a 2021 #KTM300SX #twostroke built by Twisted Development Racing. Jamie worked his magic on what started out as a stock KTM 250SX and turned it into a fire-breathing two-stroke. Ping, 15 -16 years ago, 250cc KTM;s dynoed at 47-49hp - depending on the year and which dyno was used. I've never seen one pull just 42. If their shop dyno shows 42hp, the 55hp reading is probably close to 60hp. Again, no mention if it matches a 450 four stroke on the track, which "on paper" it should easily do. Great video, as always!!!

Top peak horsepower at certain rpm for the stock 250?

I believe the 55HP, very impressive... but the 250sx does not come stock with 42HP. 49 and change no ?

Yes, 49. 55 is great for a 300. 500s "only" made about 60. Modern 450s make about 63 these days
