Agreed. This is the best interpretation I’ve heard of this piece since Richter’s. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m53MeKB-btGae6c. It’s a prelude to a genius’s slow descent into madness, but it’s a lucid moment for Schumann. He did not go gently into that goodnight, but for the moment he embraced the soft tranquility of the evening with his immaculate ability to express it at its most gentle and peaceful. It’s a perfect piece and perfect rendition.

@@JGJGJGJGJGJG3 from what i can remember i played it quite well i tried to put it in an adequate amount of rubato but not too much and i defintiely used a lot of body language too whilst playing bcause it is a very emotional piece. I think it went well
