I love BOTH of these so much. I am using Bobbi Brown right now and have a full magic cream. The Bobbi Brown is dreamy on my dry mature skin! I’m in love.. it feels firming/ instant plumping too. The Bobbie Brown primer is just that much more universal and easy to use. It’s not as heavy as the CT and it absorbs in your skin immediately. I am reaching for it quite a bit too but I must say I’m missing my CT cream now too that i ran out of it 🤭😂 can’t wait for the next sale for I can use the 20% off to buy a new one ☺️

I prefer Charlotte because I’m normal to dry. I don’t really break out to it. But the Bobbi left me a little dry and break out galore. Bumps all the time. Yes I prefer the Charlotte. Makeup looks so good over it! Awesome review!

I know! It’s so universal and easy to use. It’s not as heavy as the Ct cream, so I am reaching for it more often too. We just have to make sure to remove it at the end of the day to prevent it from clogging our pores and causing breakouts

Crap, I can't use the BB face base because of the fragrance, if CT is even worse I guess I'll have to skip on them both. Are there any other similar primer moisturizers you could recommend? 😣

I feel you! I have had breakouts from random skincare and makeup too. I really like The CEO vitamin C moisturizer by Sunday Riley for the mornings. It is so moisturizing and creates a tacky base for my makeup. I’m not sure if it is sensitive skin friendly though. First Aid Beauty is my trusted brand to go for whenever I have skin problem because their products are so simple and good for sensitive skin.

Thank you for a great 'To the point' comparison. I find Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream too heavy for me, under make-up, but I use it as a night cream. I can't use CT's dedicated night cream, because I don't like the smell, even though it is really good. I really like the Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base and I also use the matching eye cream, which has a little caffeine in it, to brighten the eyes.

I've only ever had minis of both of them, and I do prefer the Bobbi Brown over the Charlotte Tilbury. The BB base is still a little thicker than I prefer, so I haven't used up either mini. Even though I have dry skin (dry-normal), my skin doesn't tolerate thick creams very well. I have to use products that lock in moisture but are still lightweight.

Also the fact that CT cream is $100 doesn’t help justify buying it at all lol. I think this video will help many people as I was considering these two products and weren’t able to find a direct comparison before ☺️

The BB one is thicker and has ingredients to fill in the pores, so I think it’s not good as a night cream. I think Charlotte one will be much better for that. Sometimes when I use Bb one I get clogged pores afterwards,
