My friends and I frequently use a frying pan to get bearings out. Even tough SOB's will fall right out after a minute in a hot cast iron pan on high

There should have been a seal for the shaft above the upper bearing. I don't think skateboard bearings will last very long. With a vise and a combination of the right size sockets, you can press the bearings in and out much easier without damaging anything.

@@kwd57 Hello! Maybe you know, what grease should be used in shaft seal? I think proper lubrication of this seal is very important, longevity of the seal depends on this lubricant. I tried to search internet on this matter, but at no avail

@@dima343. You could try a good quality food grade grease, but I don't think Vitamix puts any grease in between the bearings and the seal.

On mine, the outer ring and the blade assembly are so together that when i turn the outer ring it moves the whole thing, so i literally cant get the blade out at all. If i could hold the inside still while i turn the outer ring, maybe i could, but for the life of me in cant figure out how to do that. Any suggestions? Different kind of blender, but similar assembly.

I was about to tackle this till I realized I didn't have a pick axe head, so I'm SOL. 🤷🏿 LOL. But seriously, the Kitchenaid blender jars are a different beast. I can't figure out how their plastic bearing housing is held together.

both of my outer bearing casings are stuck to the wall of the base, ugh!!! the bearings and inner casing walls of each are already cleared...any idea how to bash these two outer rings out of the base???? I am going to soak in WD40 attempting to soften whatever is "cementing" the two surfaces together, then I will try to bash something in there like you did...

Sorry to read you have a stuck bearing - it might be easiest simply to buy a new fitting? What country are you in? Mike

Unfortunately it doesn’t work this way because the bearing stays in the housing when you knock the spindle out
