I own the Vitamix Professional 750 and also the Ascent A3500. I have one at each residence. Both blenders are great and use the same motor. The A3500 is slightly quieter than the 750 and has the LED display and capacitive touch screen buttons and a dial. The 750 has no LED screen or touch screen buttons and relies on a simple dial and switches. As far as the program modes go, both machines have the exact same program modes. Personally, I prefer the 750 over the Ascent. I worry that the touchscreen buttons will not hold up over time, but with a 10 year warranty, it does take out a lot of my concern. Either way you go....you can't go wrong with a Vitamix blender.

I did a lot of research in the differences before the new digital blenders came out this year; furthermore, I think all the Vitamix blenders are better than other brands out there . . . but the real winners are those who use the Vitamix blenders with “good” ingredients to heal the cells and provide much needed and neglected nutrients, as well as phytonutrients that our bodies are indeed starving for and greatly lacking. Like most things created for good, there are always those, who will find the contrary and unhealthy uses to fulfill their own agendas . . . but also like most . . . they will become their own worst enemy.

When I bought my VM TNC so many years ago--still works!!I was able to order Stainless Steel 32 oz containers for it-have both in Wet and dry blades.The nice thing here is the blades are easily replaced when they finally wear out.I use my SS wet container for making my peanut butter on the Quiet One machine-just pulse at high a few times and the nuts are peanut butter!!!Would like to see VM bring those SS jars back!!Glad I still have mine and won't give them up!!!!Also for really cold drinks you can chill the jug in a freezer for a few min to keep the drink cool as you mix it.Granted you can't see whats going on-you can tell by SOUND when the drink is blended.The jars came with the locking rubber lids.

I have Total Nutrition Center 5000. I don't understand why anyone would need presets, touch screens, or any of that. You put the stuff in, you turn it on, you blend it until it's done, tamping if needed, you turn it off. Easy peasy, you do the same procedure for anything you want to blend. I keep my tamper in my container when I'm not blending. Take it out when it's blending time. This is my second vitamix and I had it for 15 years. I had a 3600 before that for decades. I miss the reversible motor switch and the stainless steel container with spigot. lol. Does Vitamix still take trade-ins toward new machines? Great video, as always!

I just got the 750 Vitamix Blender today(Wed). I am very happy with the blender. It works like a charm. It blends all the vegetable and fruits really smooth. I am very happy that I got this model because it so powerful. I was going to get the 5200, but I saw another video comparing the 5200 vs 750 using the apple test. It was blending one apple and seeing the texture of the blend. The 750 model made the blend more smoothly. I am picky in terms of texture of the blend. It was worth paying the extra money over the Blendtec. In fact, It cost me double the price of the blendtec. I saw your videos comparing the blendtec and the Vitamix 750 and I saw a big difference. You showed that you cannot fill the blendtec jar to the top. I tend to do this with blenders. I would of been very unhappy when the liquid would of overflow from the top. Also the blendtec cannot blend ice cream. Other youtube channels are trying to promote Blendtec by saying that you do not need a tamper when in fact you do, not in all cases, but there will be times when you do need it. The only thing that blendtec has over Vitamix is that they are cheaper in price, but once you get the blendtec and you try to make diffcult blends, then you regret not getting the Vitamix and paying more money. I have seen youtube channel where other people started with a blendtec because of the cheaper price, but ended up getting a Vitamix because the Blendtec was not doing the job. Keep up the good work Henry in showing the videos on the advantages of Vitamix over other blenders. The truth always comes out.

Hi Kristie! The Ascent activates by way of bluetooth connection with the container. It's container is wired internally for this. Placing the VitaPrep's container on A3500 will not activate the motor.

@@KrsitieSimplyBlessed Vitamix states that the Ascent container is also compatible with the "G" series machines (Pro 750) because they have the same 2.2hp motor which is designed to drive the larger blades in the Ascent container. I believe your VitaPrep has a 3hp motor but that extra power is for driving the fan since that's a commercial blender. Vitamix states if the incorrect machine is used with the Ascent container it will cause stress on the motor. Since Vitamix does not train me on commercial equipment I do not want to pass the wrong information to you. So yes while the Ascent container will run on your VP3 I can't guarantee it won't put forth stress on the motor.

Just buy the cheapest Vitamix. They all have the same motor and can make the same stuff. The only difference is the controls and the presets are not necessary.

Thanks Henry for your Viitamix videos. You have convinced me with your videos that Vitamix blenders are better than Blendtect blenders. I was going to buy a Blendtec blender because of the cheaper price and the 3 horse power feature. I was bamboozled on the facts of the more horse power a blender has, the more powerful the blender, but after seeing you compare both blenders making ice cream, smoothies, and other food items, the truth came out. Also, I notice that blendtec does have a plunger for the blender, that seem kind of odd. Then I seen the demonstration on making ice cream on both blenders and saw that the blendtec could not make the ice cream perfectly without the plunger. I going to get started with the classic 5200 Vitamix, which will serve my purpose of making raw green vegetables drinks. I currently have an OMNI Blender, but it does not crush all the vegetables smoothly, leaving chucks of umblended vegetables in the blender and not a smooth blend at all. In addition, thank you for the tip on the reconditioned Vitamix Blenders. I was not sure if they were any good, but now after your video regarding this topic has made me rest assure. I am new to your channel.

You mentioned about a Blendtec Tamper? Where did you see this? There's nothing on their website and they still say their products are Tamper-free on their site. Perhaps you saw an aftermarket tamper?

You can use the tall container but unless you already have one I would recommended getting the 48oz container. It has the same footprint and narrow bottom as the 64oz tall container. It’s also easier to fit underneath cabinets.

I would like to see VM go to the legible black printed designations on their residential mixing jars as does on their commercial jars.The molded designations are HARD to read-my main complaint.It would seem that if the printed lines withstand heavy commercial use they would work for home useage as I use their Advance jars on my VM Quiet One blender-BUT Love ALL my VM machines-yes,even the SS "monolith" machines with the forward reverse lever-is FUN to use!Have some of those in my collection.The old SS machines didn't have any jar markings at all.

Does the personal cup adapter fit on the new blending bowls? Having sufficient room to attach the bowl to the blade housing doesn't appear to be an issue, but I can't determine if the bowls and blades are compatible. Vitamix website doesn't go into that level of detail. Please advise.

The new 8oz blending bowl is designed only for the new Vitamix Ascent models. Legacy machines with the personal cup adapter are not compatible.

Am I correct in thinking that the 2500 and 3500 have the exact same presents functionality, and only differ in regards to the controls? In that case why would I pay more to give up the tactile switches for a (debatably worse) capacitive touch strip?

The A2500 has 3 presets. The A3500 has 5 presets. The A3500 has sound dampening materials so it's quieter than the A2500. The A3500 also has a programmable timer to set your own blend times. The A2500 is entry level in terms of the build quality.

It will "FIT" but it's not compatible. The 750's motor is slightly less in power and will not be suitable to drive the larger blades in the wide 64oz container without putting stress on the motor.

Hello and Thanks a lot for the interesting and useful content. I have a question I've posted on other sites without response but I think you may have the correct answer. I'm very pleased to see that Vitamix now has a lower profile models to better fit under kitchen cabinets, but I found that the traditional (like in the 5200 model) slimmer profile container keeps ingredients in very small batches closer to the blades. Could I simply purchase an additional Vita-Mix 5200 tall slim container to take advantage of its characteristics, whenever desirable, and use it with the Vita-Mix power base that comes with the shorter, wider, low profile container? Are both canisters compatible with their respective power base counterparts? Example; Existing Model 5200 v/s Model E320 I'm planning to purchase? I highly recommend that you contact Vitamix customer service @ 800-848-2649. I do not know for sure because not every container is compatible based on the motor design.

Henry, try doing one, how to make drink with homemade almond milk. I tryed but the almond spoiled too fast in my cooler in a rv. I bet everyone want to know how much almond for each person and do you Chop it up first or just add the nuts to the smoothie.

Hi Diana! For smaller recipes I would go for the TNC5200. The narrow container needs less ingredients for smaller recipes.

Vitamix gives you a 7 year warranty. You should contact them via the number in your instruction booklet. No need to trade it in. The 750 is an amazing machine.
