@@BlendingWithHenry I would LOVE an updated hummus video, also if you buried the tortilla soup or have not done one that would be awesome! I have to say, Vitamix was very skimpy with the recipe book they provided with the a3500 it is actually, well it should be embarrassing for them since we are paying over $600 for their unit. Their prior older models got wonderful recipe books, though I wouldn't use them just because how we eat now is evolving and it is tapered to the unit it was sold with. The new recipe book 'three" soup recipes REALLY REALLY REALLY???? Hahahahahaha. Love, smiles and hugs to you and your family!

I love eating and working with food, it is my form of art I am sure in one of my past lives I was a chef, hahahahaha. After losing my Dobermans three years ago to cancer every 3 to 4 months I dived into my research and it is all about food! So I have been educating myself the right foods and prep for me and my animals, the Vitamix is a godsend helping me lesson the time it takes. I also follow a fermentation guru working with fermenting foods, sourdough starter for bread, kefir and I was prepping kombucha but I don't really like it, hahahahahaha. I have always wanted to travel just to eat everyone's cultured version of foods, but I am retired (blessed to retire young;) living in Mexico which has been my home for 21 years, anymore the US scares me, hahahahahaha.

The rubber lids retain smells from foods like jalapeños, ginger or other strong smelling foods. After a few washes with bleach the smells are gone. The plastic lid does not retain smells at all.

Do you have recipes for tape to type two diabetics when it comes to modeling using the disk disc air
@BlendingWithHenry3 жыл бұрын
Hi Pat. Perhaps the nut butters and nut milks featured on my website and in videos would be something that would be diabetic-friendly but since I am not a nutritionist I cannot recommend a specific recipe as I honestly do not know what type of effect they have. Many of my sweetened recipes have maple syrup as a sweetener as opposed to refined sugar. I do not use Stevia as I have never been a fan of it.

I don’t have a hot soup button on my Explorian. Is there a way to make hot soup with my Explorian? Thank you!
@evileyelash80945 жыл бұрын
I also got the Explorian. It came with a recipe book which included a soup section. Some of the recipes state that you should heat the soup further once you finish processing it in the Vitamix blender. So, I'm guessing that the machine has some ability to heat, but not comparable to the stove or microwave. I am really excited to make soups with this thing now that the colder weather is on its way! Have fun :)

Have you tried the Ascent 48 ounce blender jar? I’d like to see how it compares to the 64 ounce. Usually the 64 oz is too large to get things blending, and the 20 oz isn’t quite large enough for everything to fit. I think the 48 oz could be the sweet spot, a comparison video would be great. The one I used on the Ascent in the video is designed for the Ascent. The S-Series uses a different designed cup. The 20oz Self-Detect cup (for Ascent) has been in limited supply. I'm not sure when Vitamix will be releasing it to all countries.
