I prefer the rpm plastic ones. Its because the damage that may occur and the car realy gets heavy with all the aluminum. Just switched the aluminum arms from the big rock to the rpm ones. The difference: 1 rpm arm= 16gr. 1 Aluminum arm= 40gr.

You've missed the most important component to adding strength to the suspension Vitavon hinge pin hangers. Vitavon use a 5 axis mill so there is zero slop on the pins this holds them properly and stops the pins being able to twist and bend or snap so easily. They have made a massive difference to both me K8 and K6.

I tore the rear end down of my Fireteam yesterday for the first time... this is looking AWEFULLY familiar. I bought it when on sale for $400 near x-mas and ran it only once, then on the shelf all winter. Took it to a mild track last weekend and she broke down in minutes. The inner inner bearings on both rear hubs rusted out and exploded. But all the others were fine. Seems a bit odd, but whatever. Ha! Awesome video Joe!

Most all manufacturers bearings are crap. Replace with some Jims or fast eddies...

It was quite the job. I have probably 20 batteries thru her since installing all the vitavon arms. No complaints.

Just wondering if you have ever done a build on a traxxas summit? Happy Mother’s Day to the wife! 👍👍😁😎✌️

I have 4 Mojave rigs and have yet to break an arm on any of them. Two are “big block 8s” powered and the others are high voltage 6s setups….and they all get used. Wild how they all remain running on the oem arms. Maybe soaking all new parts in WD40 before running them DOES work 🙂🤙🏽!

Bent so many aluminum arms I stoped. Yeah they look cool and shiny at first but not worth the hassle. My rpm arms kept ticking

These look awesome but man my mojave is already heavy as hell... and I've probably put 60+packs through my exb and only broke one A arm. (Hit a brick halfway in the ground lol) Not going to lie they have some slop to them now but I'm going to send it till they break

Could it be the metal is getting stronger as well? It’s not the cheap aluminum they use to use for arms.
