ViTiLAN-Triple Hill Of Death

E-Bike-ViTiLAN-i7 PRO 2-Default/out the box controller display advanced settings-PAS 5 throttle only-gear 3.
Other E-Bike in the top left of the main screen (at the second hill part) is the AD0 A20F-PAS 4 throttle and peddle -gear 3.
I had to turn right and stop at the start of the third hill on the ADO,count the lamp posts on the right for comparison when the ADO video starts.

Next Video-'After set up check list' and questions,I have about a few things on the I7 PRO 2. I've made a new playlist,'ViTiLAN-I7 PRO 2',here below for all my I7 PRO 2 videos. One example,the back suspension on my I7 PRO 2 didn't move. Apparently It's over tightened for transport reasons,I loosened two bolts slightly and it now works fine. I've tightend them back up because,I need to remove what looks like 4 bolts,add some locktight ? to the ends and then they will be okay,I know nothing about back suspension so I'm not touching it at the moment. One of the main reasons I got the ViTiLAN-I7 PRO 2 was to get up steep hills when needed,because my other E-Bikes couldn't,it has far exceeded my expectations at doing so. 10/10 for the ViTiLAN-I7 PRO 2 for hill climbing.

233 miles done so far,no major problems but a few minor issues,that I'm still finding. The power cut out/stuttered a couple of times,the clip that holds the connections near the stand at the back needed tightening. Once I've got to 500 miles (next 2/3 weeks) I will edit and upload the video-'After set up check list'. The colour display on The V is terrible,it's like a black mirror in sunlight. Twice I've filmed a '0 PAS/No pedal roll down hill test' video and both times the video of the display at the start and end can't be seen,I may be able to get some screen shots of the Mph and PAS 0,see if I can brighten,and use them.

PAS 3 probably would have been enough to get up the hills so far,I used PAS 5 in case 3 wasn't enough as it takes a while to get used to where the controls are on the handle bars and I wasn't going to mess about on a steep hill like that lol.

I know with my ebike that has 26 inch wheels I can increase the speed by putting in size 16 or 20 inch wheels. I wonder if with your Vitilan you might get even higher speeds with a smaller wheel setting, say 16 instead of 20 inch. TBF it looks fast enough already. Only thing is it mucks up the display reading temporarily when doing this so you have to get your actual speed from a GPS app on your phone. After I played about and found it worked I don't really need the extra speed and just put it back to the correct tyre size. I think I get 20 mph throttle only in correct settings and 27 mph when wheel size was 16. I guess if people want to do this they should check motor heat and understand it's bound to wear your motor components much faster especially if doing it all the time 👍 It will also void the manufacturers warranty but maybe if it's possible on this bike I'd expect top speed to increase by roughly 3 or 4 mph.

28Mph (on private land) is fast enough for me. I7 PRO 2 > Advanced Settings > A5-Wheel Diameter Size-16/18/20/22/24/26/27-Measured in inches. I had this issue with my ADO A20F 20'' x 4'' E-Bikes. Changing from default 20'' to 22'' added 2Mph to the display but then I realised that the wheels are 16'',the manual says 'Wheel Diameter Size' yet the default is set to tyre size. I will leave the I7 wheel size at default when I check the advanced settings,I want to relax and cruise around looking good,not worry or care if I can get another few Mph from my E-Bike. My advice about Manufacturers warranties is to learn how to replace things like controllers, throttles and displays and always keep at least one of each at home in stock for when you need them.

As pointed out by Alexi Grewal, 1984 Olympic road race gold medalist, a small wheel is more efficient than a large wheel in speeds up to 16 mph. In speeds between 16 and 33 mph, small and large wheels are equally efficient. Only in speeds faster than 33 mph is a large wheel preferable, Grewal says.
