Mr Eh TV let me take the Vitilan for a rip. As a *cough cough* 245 lbs dude, i loved it!! You really have to ride it to get the true feeling. It's awesome .. an E-bike is now on my MUST buy list for next spring! If you are thinking about getting one, take a test drive and you will not regret it!

You bet! After much research for one to buy for the wife, I'm now realizing this unit is quite impressive for cost. Many out there at same cost with smaller batteries and motors.

I saw a guy review one of these. He set the tire size to 20 and GPS confirmed 33mph but it won't show the correct speed on the bikes display. Ive got a different bike but think ill try that trick. I wonder if standing start is quicker as well. Cheers anyway

​@@GG-ml3vrthey're trying to preserve the motor. Pushing loads of amps into a motor that's not spinning fast can burn it out quite easily. So with this bike they programmed it not to give maximum power until you are already over like 10-15mph. They just launched a pro version of this and it still accelerates slow but does 36mph instead of 28.

That's pretty dang fast on a bike. To me it's about how fast ya get there though. I'd like to see a touch more power down low for off-road applications.
