Chain tension, read manual. If too tight, when rear wheel moves up and down w/suspension, chain tension can change. If it binds, you will wear out the swing arm bushings, chain, sprockets, etc. And... 7/8 inch bars are standard motorcycle bars. In recent years the 1 and 1/8 inch has come out. Not sure if that provides any noticeable benefit. FYI. Check your chain again and go by what the manual says.

Dude, you are my favorite e-bike KZbinr, and Onyx makes my favorite e-bikes, and I'm pretty sure you've never had an Onyx RCR, and right now they've got a hundred limited rcrs available on their website for sale! The bad part about an Onyx bike was always their battery, that was always the one thing you could point at that was subpar, but they're using a mortgage batteries and even though all the batteries that they had available for purchase have all been sold out in the first day the site was open. Each of their 100 new bikes has the 45ah a mortgage battery. Also. I know the bike might look primitive to you considering the bikes you've been riding lately, but I'm telling you dude that's a bike that you could totally restore 30 years from now if you wanted to and make it like new again.

I put 2 eye bolts in the header of my grade door. Then some cheapo slings from Amazon and a couple of ratchet straps that made a great way get my bike off the ground to work on it.

I want to order one now, but I wish there was a way I could speed limit it so my 12 and 14 year olds can ride it. They're very capable riders, but I don't want them to be a statistic. I already worry about them a bit on my MX5, but they handle it just fine.

@markfletcher_atx I don't blame you. I know one nfc unlocks race and the other one won't. You might be able to tune the other modes down to tame it out and keep the race key for yourself. I haven't had time to mess with the computer settings yet

I'm going to release a video later showing how to do it. Basically you don't use the power button to turn it on. Use whatever NFC you want associated with Race mode (you can only use 1 with race) then go into the advanced settings in your display by holding the M button. Choose enable Race Mode.. default passcode is 0000

You need to just reach out to your dealer. They will contact Altis for the answers. My USB port isn't working on mine either, they are looking into it. I looked under the hood up, by the battery there was a brown wire unplugged just dangling. I'm pretty sure thats the culprit on mine. Im just going to wait for the green light from Altis to plug it in. I don't want to void the warranty. These companies will find every excuse not to cover under warranty. Also my app was working now it will not connect. Just keeps scanning. I need to send another email for that now.
