I had this issue, went through all the trouble, turns out at one point the line came off the spool, and when I replaced it I hadn't retensioned the spool! Glad to have gone through the journey of taking the pull starter off and inspecting it for damage, though!

Is this starter compatible with the Classic Moster? Can I purchase a kit to upgrade my starter to this one?

on my Scout....the start cord pulls out about 24 inchs before it engages. Any ideas why this is so??

Really!!! I didn't know. Eletric start must be better to re-start in flying if we need isn't ? Thanks for informations

@@cprsjcsp my personal opinion is that electric start is not necessary. When I had it I have used it all the time. Now I fly manual and I don't miss the electric at all. I like to keep things simple. The moster plus starts fine,no problems with manual. Restarting a hot engine in the air is always the first pull.

You guys probably get bombarded with questions about the 4 stroke EOS engine all the time... but I can't find any newer information since last year, are their any updates on that project? Engine Volume has always been a prohibiting feature to me for these types of sports, I have a condition that greatly increases my sensitivity to loud noises.

If you are not really a big guy yhe Atom 80 engine could be what you need. All reviews (and Stefan from Scout) say the Atom 80 is much quieter and uses much less fuel. True; thrust is less at 55kg but that only means you can't climb as fast as the Moster. The smaller engine will still push you as fast in the cruise as the Moster can. Combine the Atom 80 with a good helmet and ear protection and you will be OK.

Most of the noise is the prop, not the engine. A guy flies electric and it's very noisy as well at full power (from the prop)

tengo un Moster 185 que No llega a 20hs de uso y SE ROMPIO todo el escape!!! un motor de 3600u$s que es una PORQUERIA!!! Cuesta como una moto y se rompe a las 20hs!!!! Vuelo hace 20 años y JAMAS me había pasado esto...un DESASTRE una desilución de marca. La marca de motores de paramotor mas vendida del mundo y NO DAN GARANTIA: Un desastreeeeeee. A cualquier alumno que quiera comprar un motor JAMAS le voy a aconsejar un Moster o nada de la marca Vitorazzi
