There’s beauty in imperfection. When you hear the record, you’re hearing the best possible version of that song that’s been mixed, mastered, and edited together. It’s so important for musicians to not base their skill level around a master track because when they play it live, it’ll never be perfect, and that’s okay.

Someone from The Voice would hit every note perfectly and not sound a fraction as good. This is the confidence that comes from writing your own song and literally singing it a thousand times in front of a live audience. CM knows what has to be spot on - the rhythm of the guitar and a few key singing notes - and the rest he can just wing it.

Here's the TUNING and CHORDS guys From what I can hear in the stray notes he plays accidentally and from the intro, the tuning is D# G# C# F G# D# First chord is a D power chord 10 12 12 muted Second is 0 12 12 x x x Third chord 9 12 11 x x x Fourth chord 9 9 7 x x x Chorus is x 5 7 7 0 0 0 7 7 8 0 0 5 7 7 7 0 0 2 4 4 3 0 0 I could be wrong about the tuning of the 3rd string though Figured this all out in my head as I don't have a guitar So I could be wrong. Check for it yourself.
