Hope she, and you, are doing ok. I'm young but due to health issues I've been in rehab units filled with almost exclusively stroke patients and really feel for wgat they go through. One stuck with me the most. She hated being in hospital more than anyone I've met, but she worked damn hard to get home. A couple of weeks after we were both discharged I ran into her and her husband at outpatient rehab and she'd had another, even bigger, stroke only 5 days after getting out. The gains she'd worked so hard for were gone, and you could see how shattered she was. She didn't try anymore. She'd just given up. Wasn't even that old. In her early 60's

21:18; I have a special place in my heart for voice actors in video games. There is often a lot of screaming involved (CoD especially). Checkout the Gary Old interview about VG VO. But this skit clearn shows what it is like when someone doean’t care. You are still telling a story! If it ain’t good, the player looses interest, that is why a lot of is is filmed in a mo-cap sound stage. The actors get more engaged. One of my instructors played Rosa Cleb in the video game remake of “From Russia with Love”. I played against Cumming, the guy that played Yako, Raphael, and Carl’s entire family. And I also played against Peter Cullin, voice of Optimus Prime, The Predator, and Eore. They all had vocal scaring from VO in Video Games.

To be fair, once you put it into perspective the arbitrary training games make you do consists of things that NPC's can't do. So afterwards they view the player as a demigod with room to still improve. This is the genius of vldl and how they portray the adventures to the npcs.
