Rowan's 'sucking' may get slightly old for me, but I totally agree with him on the crowbar, even if it is a smaller one, they are made rather strong and typically have a very pointy end good for causing deep wounds where a golf club is like a 1-2lb head on the end of a typically VERY easily bent shaft. ;)

Rob I promise you if you take a small hand crowbar and a golf club and swing them both at a person the golf club will hurt for sure but that crow bar is gonna break or at least fracture bone on hit 1 maybe 2 if they are tough. A golf club weighs like 2 pounds a small crowbar weighs about 3. A golf club is thin and not designed as a bludgeon. Crowbar bars are sturdy enough to pull welds apart and they tend to be hexagonal for grip but also means any strike is basically all corners. It's basically a superior iron cudgel with utility

A crowbar, albeit shorter than a golf club, is heavier and much sharper ! I would definitely pick the crowbar over the golf club if I had to fight with it, that’s like a short sword vs a stick. (The crowbar I think about is the one with two working hands, not the lever and handle one) That being said, bravo for the entertainment, ❤ you guys !

It's the same problem with other D&D streamers. If they adopt another ongoing campaign there will be much less time in their schedules for new one-offs like this. I'd like to see more of this as well, but I'd much more like to see other one-off ideas with other settings and genres in the future. And I think it would be more creatively satisfying to them and their writers, as well. If only we had clones! 🤣

One of the best tricks to maintain tension in a horror RPG is to _never_ alert the players to a sanctuary. Robert tells the players that if they defeat a creature their 'zone' is now safe. While that may be somewhat logical and obvious to the GM, not knowing where a place to rest is builds tension and fear. Only reveal a sanctuary when they come to it and try it out, and even then don't let on if it is permanently safe. Right up until they are healed, make them worry that resting was a terrible idea even if it was actually their best decision.

Please! Turn this into a Bored game! Pun definitely intended. But watching this i imagine a cross between Clue and DnD. A board could be made with the rooms, minis/tokens to help the players tracker where they are, and cards that have the weaknesses/clues/items/weapons/locations. And there would be a few ways to approach it, such as shuffling the cards and placing one of each category in each room and played more like clue for the less DnD experienced crowd or one without a DM. Could do turns like FF with either turn based, or a short timer where the party needs to decide a skill to use in that room or it counts as an automatic fail for the room. Rob, loving this one shot.
