I love how Rob always have a few tricks up his sleeves to force Bodger to come along and do his job. 😄 You're the best GM at keeping your uncooperative players on track that I've ever seen! Meta-Gaming question here: I guess Greg the character is unaware at this point that he has picked up a curse? Could he ever know, since his curse of the ordinary manifests via dice rolls, which happen outside of the universe? Baradun on the other hand might know that something is wrong. Then again, he has been walking through a swamp for days now, feet can get quite itchy from that. I can see absolutely no other reason why they would not ask their new cleric friend if they can do something about it... nope, nothing else comes to mind.

An undetectable curse that's a somewhat significant nerf would be annoying to both a player and the DM. Personally, as DM I'd let Alan know after a few days or weeks that Greg is feeling some emotional numbness, less excited or sad than he used to feel, just constant blandness. Greg could take that as depression, but his friends could recognize it as potentially magically influenced Edit: Maybe it extends to food and activities he usually likes or hates.

When Rob said after the peer pressure he watched "Alien" and thought it was "All right" I died a little inside. I'm not a big fan of horror movies either but come on! I saw it with my family when it was in theaters when I was 11 years old. It was my first scary movie that wasn't "The Wizard of Oz" (kidding a little). I was sitting next to my mom and she kept clutching my arm really hard. To say it moves slow just boggles me. That's the tension. I don't recall being bored for one minute and I'm a person that gets antsy in movie theater as an *adult*.

It's pretty clear that Rowan is the prime example of a Chaotic Neutral character. Doesn't care about other people. Just himself. Isn't really motivated to do evil things OR good things... just wants to get shit over with so he can get home. Wasn't motivated by honor so much as personal pride and the fact that he felt he deserves that hammer. And wants everyone to know he deserved that hammer. Explains why Rob has such a hard time with him. Nobody knows how to handle a CN character! And yet Rowan pulls it off naturally.

I love how Bob was immediately ready to throw down over What's it. Usually Bob is very indifferent to everyone. Hilarious stuff. Congrats to the VLDL guys and Rob on getting your D&D set funded.
