Vivaldi Browser Review - Quite Underrated!

Vivaldi is the BEST. It has so many features that I've become borderline DEPENDENT on. It HURTS to use Chrome after Vivaldi. I use Vivaldi as my main browser and I love the user interface of the Android browser.

You missed some features of Vivaldi... customisation of address bar, hiding it, customisation of tabs and position, grouping of tabs in different ways, command bar etc.

I use Chrome, Brave, Edge and Vivaldi- all the four! Each serves a unique purpose. I find Vivaldi Notes pretty good. It has also awesome tabs and some other features.

I have used Vivaldi from the first and until recently, its the only day to day browser I have recommended. That said, over the last six months or so, its gotten more and more unreliable and buggy over both my Linux and Windows based systems. My personal view is they need to slow down, stop adding features and focus on core reliability. Of course, it could just be me but its not just one OS or system, as I have said, so make of that what you will.

I can't say I recognize the picture you're painting here, for me there were many bugs along the road, but the last 6 months has felt very stable on my end. I'm on the stable branch, not the RC/beta.

Very well done bro.. liked & supported.. Qs. I've just switched from Chrome to Vivaldi. The only Issue I've noticed so far is: My data is getting properly synced to Vivaldi except the previous Extensions I've installed on Chrome. That means I'll have to install the extensions manually one by one again which is too cumbersome, maybe about 50 of them. Have you faced the same issue? Will you suggest a fix to properly sync all the extensions or at least bulk import from Chrome all at once?? Thanks.

Have not used RSS before switching to Vivaldi. Now I do. In a world of ad-filled algorithms it's still the best, clutter-free way to follow blogs and news sites.

I'm using vivaldi but in my icons I used the YT white one & the amazon gray picture. I always update vivaldi but even signing out of YT or amazon wont give me back that icons on the start page. Can you please help me get those start icons back? Thx so much!

Honestly after seeing both arc and Vivaldi i can't but appreciate arc's beautiful design. Honestly for something I'm gonna be looking at for hours every single day i think arc wins me over simply for the design language and animations.

@@hadihassan40 Look at how many tabs you can fit into arc and vivaldi. Arc has like 1.5x higher tab, meaning less tabs, so whats the point of having them on side of the browser? Also, you cant even move them to the top

Well recently Vivaldi browser released a beta version for ISO users so it looks like not to much longer for a stable version.

hey bro, all good in vivaldi xcpt the auto refreshing feature that doesn't even have any option to disable. its quite annoying while in the middle of u doing something the browswer starts auto refreshing. any luck on that. in my circle almost everyone has this issue.

Huh? You right click the tab, select periodic reload to e.g. 1 minute. When you want to disable it again, right click the tab and go to periodic reload again and just click either disable or disable all. Seems intuitive enough.

All browsers on iOS are just reskin of Safari, as they can't use any other browser engine than Webkit. webkit is browser engine from apple, but they lack many modern web features

i started using the browser as well and its way better then opera not saying opera is bad but all the data on opera like user data is all saved to the opera servers so dont save paswords because that can be a problem
