I had the pleasure of hearing Canadian Icon Alexandre Da Costa play this under the direction of Michel Brousseau at the beautiful Carleton Dominion Chalmers Theatre in Ottawa a few years back during an SPNM/OPNM concert. It was phenomenal. I can just imagine hearing Master Violinist Chen play this. Just the excerpt alone is so thrilling and engaging. 😊 Wishing them a fabulous performance and tour.

Hi Mr. Chen. First of all, I love how you play the violin. And other than being a great musician as you are, you’re also a humble and funny person, I love it very much. I recently discovered that the beautiful actress Jane Mansfield was a violin player too. I saw her video here on KZbin, she was playing a Concert n° 6 in A minor at the Ed Sullivan Show. I wanna ask you if you ever seen it and what do you think about it. As an ignorant, I think she was good. Thank you for now and I hope one day I can come to see your concert in Italy.
