Quelle S. Mingardo sublime et incomparable ! Clé de voûte de l'architecture de cette œuvre musicale, la puissance (mais aussi intériorité), la profondeur, l'expression et la présence de sa voix font que cette interprétation est à nulle autre pareille. N.b : Vivaldi n'est pas l'homme d'un seul concerto (sous-entendu : toujours le même !) comme certains aiment à le répéter à l'envi. Le meilleur qui puisse être arrivé à ses œuvres est sa redécouverte le siècle passé, le meilleur non pour lui (ce génie a d'autres centres d'intérêt là où il est) mais pour tous les mélomanes actuels et à venir.

Senza nulla togliere ai controtenori, la voce oscura del contralto, da espressione alla domanda del testo " cun Dederit" " come darà il sonno eterno" la voce più scura del contralto da profondità a questa eterna domanda dell'uomo. (When He has given sleep to His beloved, Lo, sons are the heritage of the Lord, the reward of the fruit of the womb.) This "ode of ascents" seems to mention Solomon's dream narrated at 1 King 3:5-14.
