"Cycle tabs in order" does not work as expected when using new page option "As Tab Stack in with Related Tab". The newly created tab seems to be the very last tab, even though the tab stack in which it is created is not at the end of the tab bar. Would be great if this will be fixed or an tab cycle option was added which allows to cycle through the tabs in the actual order which is shown in the tab bar.

I have reported that bug, two years ago (referenced as VB-61455), since this functionality appeared, but there was no progress to fix it at all… I can say this is the main reason why I still open new related tabs as normal tabs, and not as stacked tabs with their parent. It was also reported in the comments of the post announcing the release of stable 3.6 in the Vivaldi’s blog. If it can help a fix to be done…

Probably not the place for suggestions but it would be excellent that if we set tabs to the side (left or right) that we reclaim the vertical space that was used. For instance, the URL bar and shortcut bar could squinch away from the left/right justified tab bar. Also, the window title bar (which used to contain the top tab bar) could disappear in order to better utilize vertical space.

I love the video and learned a few things. One concern is the audio is quiet and very difficult to understand. I'm not sure why the words sound 'muddy' (not clear). I had to turn my speakers way up and the sound was still mushy. Still, a very good explanation of some of Vivaldi's features.

I love your browser. It has everything you would expect and more to manage a lot of tabs without even using extra extensions. However (constructive criticism) I cannot use it because I have been doing several tests with different alternatives and it is the one that consumes the most resources on my modest PC. So many positive things do not make up for it if I notice that everything freezes or jumps when I start to delve into a browsing session. Every so often I test their new versions, but with the same performance (this does not happen to me with other options). I think they should focus a bit on optimizing the allocation of system resources that makes this great browser. Thank you for your good work and hopefully be my first choice in the near future ... if improvement in this detail ;-)

@@dusankitic5711 this option is no longer there. Now only one image can be set for both the Tab Bar and Start Page background. You can go to Settings > Theme > Color and enable Transparent Tab Bar, then the Start Page background image will be displayed there too. ✨

when ever I'm adding in new tab or switching between them, it's kind of lagging a bit. The time it took to display is a bit slow. This didn't happen in the older version of Vivaldi I used before. Even though I turned off animation, it still is slow. The new feature of stacking tab 2 level and session saving is definitely compete-able with opera workspaces now, but at this time Opera operate a tad bit faster though.

I have just installed vivaldi snapshot s20 plus android 11, here are things than need to be corrected. If I open website with many videos and open in each tab each video, and will start in each tab one video file with sound at the same time, videos freeze of I don't turn sound on everything will play but with sound on videos freeze, That's first issue. Now I'm on KZbin trying to watch this video but video stops and eveytime I press for it to play it plays 2 secs and stops. Another issue bottom bar, sometimes when I open more tabs and do it fast at the bottom I will see two bars one on top other. There should be option to move bottom bar to the top, in flags there should be option horizontal tab switcher. I have tested kiwi bromite brave and vivaldi. All of those browsers perform equally fast means twice as fast as opera or Firefox. Vivaldi kiwi brave do block ads. Kiwi needs extension to do that, brave and vivaldi don't. Brave gets 8 points out of 10 vivaldi 7 kiwi also 7 and bromite 6 it doesn't block ads as it claims to do. Vivaldi still needs improvement and it could become best browser at least for android.

I know, right? Usually I only have 3 or 4 tabs open at any one time. Once in a while, I might go crazy on the newspaper homepage and have 10 or 12 articles open. But then I read each article and close the tab. If I need to come back to a page I save it in Speed Dial (which is an awesome feature). To each their own, but stacked multi-level tabs are not for me.

Why are the imported bookmarks from an html file not automatically displayed with preview images? Each bookmark has to be updated manually to get a preview. There's an option in settings to show the full address or not. If you have it enabled, it will show the full address with , but it's not enabled by default (I believe). It will also show it if you go to the address bar directly.

Very Good content, spoiled by a few things. - maybe clean up for next time 1. Banging noises, especially at the beginning 2. Not looking into the camera. How about getting a laptop/tablet to act as the teleprompter but then get a usb-camera which is is stuck in the center, so your eyes look like they are looking at the user. 3. Cringe-level excitement from the lady. Nobody can be they excited about tabs!! (don't try to tell me otherwise!)

this browser lags much more than any other browser on my laptop even firefox is much more responsive than this. One of the issue with vivaldi is that it lags when opening or closing tabs maybe because of all the bloat and features that no one uses that much 👎
