Vivaro project pt.12. Sliding door lower roller repair.

So the sliding door on project Vivaro was a bit low at the front, we went to adjust the lower front guide but the rollers were worn. We got a new set of rollers from eBay for £10.95 and fitted them.
The guide rail and step were looking a bit sad so we gave them a lick of paint.
Here's how we did it.

Just what i needed. Door gaps were uneven and every time i went over a bump the interior light and door open warning came on and was driving me insane. Turned out to be a worn flat bottom castor. Bought the whole bracket off ebay and got job done in 10 minutes, thanks for a great vid.

If you go to main dealer, they will replace the whole bracket at a cost of £250, outrageous given the simple repair to the roller.

How can I adjust the sliding door so that the top right corner pulls in tighter? Water is coming in and causing damp 😖 I’ve tried adjusting the top roller but no luck

You could maybe adjust the upper door striker on the B pillar to try and pull it in a bit. Also your top roller might be worn or the bracket bent? Good luck sorting it out 🤞

I done this with mine but the top right corner still protrudes out where you pointed out at the beginning of your video. Did this fix your top corners? I also took the top roller off and replaced the O-ring on the roller with a thicker O-ring and it makes it alot tighter... Didn't fix the top right corner of the door though

Hey Larcs did adjusting those bottom rollers sort the gap at the top rear of door? Mines sitting out a bit but everything else seems okay. Can’t work out how to adjust to pull that top edge in

It didn't change the back, I have got to do the rear roller set sometime though, that might do something? Could the door be a bit twisted? Cheers Larcs 👍

@@LarcsWorkshop thanks Larcs, I just heard from someone that the two rubber grommets (from the inside on the left of the door) can be removed and adjusted. Hoping that can bring it in a bit! Door seems solid apart from being slightly out on that top edge

Larc..good vid..any idea how to raise the door..ive put new rollers on but its still a bit low. Tried a few things but no luck so far...its a renault master which i believe is same as yrs..cheers

I've not got a problem with mine to diagnose at the moment, sorry. Might be worth searching KZbin for identifying a battery drain? Good luck 🤞

I have to push me door on the black plastic at the rear of it to get it to close properly, would replacing the rollers cure that do you think?

I doubt changing the front rollers will sort it? I've got to do the rear ones on mine yet, that might help. Cheers Larcs 👍

Hi, I’ve just replaced the bottom roller on mine, but every time I close the door it slips out of the track, and it’s almost as though the door is out of sync now, doesn’t feel like there’s room for much adjustment? Thanks
