I'm working with five 5.5 mm hook, and I made 183 stiches which turned into a 147 cm Pattern, but she actually wants 108 cm. So , I did it again with fewer stiches to reach 108 cm. Just make sure te number of the Stitches is a multiple of 3.

Hello! Great tutorial, I loved it. I just have one question: even though I calculated the sleeves the same way (space size, counting the V, multiplying by 2, adding 1 and multiplying by 3), my sleeves ended up a little bigger than the body (at least the first row). Is this correct? I don't follow your size because I'm using a different yarn.

The first regular double crochet row will be larger than your v-stitch rows. Try doing row 2 and you should see that it gets smaller!

Just beginning the 14 rows on the back panel. I am so frustrated because the cardigan is so much larger than what your measurements are. I tried to follow your instructions to the letter, but this thing is humongous. Don’t know where I went wrong. I did use a 5 mm hook with 3 weight yarn. The stitches look very good and your instructions are easy to follow. I just have no idea why it’s so large.
@babybritainxoАй бұрын
hey! i’ve crocheted until the sleeves part but i don’t want the sleeves to be big at the end, how would i make it so they go smaller? hope that makes sense lol
@VivCrochetsАй бұрын
It does that because the v-stitch is slightly smaller than the regular double crochets! I would skip that first round with the double crochets, and just start with v-stitch. Then after finishing the sleeve, add on a round of double crochets to line it, but don’t do too many or it will flare out
