Hmm, the Philippines and Mexico shares a strong bond, since both country was unified under the Spanish flag, although we've lost the ability to speak Español after the Philippine-American War. We've mixed some of it into our National Language. Graciás, Mabuhay!

This is the first time I enjoy the Philippines Folk, I'm peruvian and latinamerican so It's incredible how this folk is similar to our dances like waltz, polka and other creole rhytms but It's no surprise because they are hispanic culture, these dances are very similar to Mexican and centroamerican folklore

Philippine folk dances are not just a dance.It has a meaning and history.
@samslifeandadventure693
@samslifeandadventure693 4 жыл бұрын
The origin of the first dance is "tuba" drinking, once they get drunk, they compete in dancing while placing the glass filled with "tuba" to different part of their body, the one who spilled "tuba" will be loser. The second is all about "pabitin", though it's very short. The third dance is "tinikling". They imitate the movement of the bird called "tikling", a bird usually found in a rice field. The bamboo was served as a trap for that bird.

@@allmight1578 Oh no I didn't forget that they suffered. Every country had it's share of suffering, whether it was of their own ordeal, or at the hands of others. Knowing how people were/are, colonization is a guarantee. It'll happen one way or another. The stronger countries with more resources always go to the others to set up shop. If Spain didn't do the colonization, someone else would've. In the end, I'm happy with where the countries are now. Could they have been better off without the colonization? Perhaps. I'm just happy that things aren't worse off for them. My point is, a lot of people wish the colonization never happened, and I ask myself why they mean that? What exactly do they think the countries would be like today if it weren't for the colonization? If anything, you should be ashamed for yourself for trying to speak for others. Not everyone is upset that Europe came to the Americas and elsewhere.

When we achieved our freedom from more than three hundred years of colonization, our Identity change and the new generations are different. Their mindset are different. They are completely LOST. They identify themselves as LATINOS of ASIA. Gosh! They are lost, they need help. They love to be called Americanized and Hispanized,like seriously? . The Philippines was named after King Philip II of Spain, in Honor for him. Philippines and Mexico has a deep root during Spanish time during year 1500 when Spain Colonized the Philippines,, It is Galleon trade between Mexico and Manila,, during those time at the end of 1900 century Filipino speaks Spanish language before Americans came., today the spirit of Spanish language, tradition and cultures was still in the heart of the Filipino...

Its beautiful how both cultures are very similar and are a big part of each other ❤❤❤Just amazing!
