Vivek is just as good as Trump on the promising side of things. Trump promised to declassify the JFK files. Trump was no different then the Democrats' on covid. Trump gave big pharma federal liability protection. I noticed that like Trump, Vivek went on about upholding the constitution by slashing regulations but did not touch the unconstitutional wealth re distribution of wealth schemes at the federal level. Biden's cognitive deficits seem to be very similar in producing outcomes to Trump's problem with the DEEP STATE. The supporters of either forgive anything they do not like because of the these excuses. Lots of promises and a public that does not hold those politicians responsible for not fulfilling those promises. Vivek supports Trump and gives no criticism.

I've been a big supporter of Vivek since his first Jordan Peterson podcast interview and just started watching more and more podcast interviews that Vivek spoke on in the past year. It scares me how much I agree with him, but I do have a few potential minute disagreements with him. One thing I think GOP doesn't do a great job clarifying, including Vivek, is on the topic climate change. Do they believe the climate change agenda is a hoax where it doesn't address climate change, or that the climate isn't changing? Because I believe the climate is changing, but it's nothing new and isn't catastrophic. If Vivek doesn't believe the global climate is changing, then I disagree with him on that. But the agenda on how to "slow down" or curb climate change? That I 100% agree with

The only abhorrent thing I’ve heard Vivek say was forced conscription for national identity, this was awhile back and I’m not sure if he still holds to this, but that is so morally disgusting to me and dangerous, despite thinking he does sound great otherwise, that’s a big hard absolute no. He’s got a point though and I’m sure Tom appreciates that. I get the exact opposite impression, seeing how Trump’s campaign got instantly better when Vivek dropped out and started talking to Trump behind the scenes. Within a week Trump was parroting Vivek’s talking points on CBD currency and was pleasantly surprised by the crowd being receptive to that position.

@@curtissnow9546 I’m interested in who is giving Trump the idea to radically change the federal income tax and replace it with tariffs. I’m almost certain that will get blocked and he might not even be serious, but as far as political strategy it’s incredibly persuasive and radical. Same for making tip workers tips nontaxable, which seems more doable. I don’t assume to know who is advising him this campaign, but it’s clear he’s flexible enough to listen to radical ideas from the smartest strategists he can surround himself with.

Even if one favors immigration restrictions, the line "a nation without borders is not a nation" is still a category error. Borders denote jurisdiction. Even with 100% open immigration, there would still be borders. The laws of Mexico would not apply in the U.S., and vice-versa - because of the border between the two countries.
