The Maharaja was Sri Padmanabha-dasa and he was great. Actually he was meeting a Sanyasi who eats fish for the first time. Though it was irrirating for his thoughts, he didn't express it and also ordered to give the Sanyasi all facilities which he needed. As far as the Maharaja was concerned, the spiritual level of Sri Padmanabha-dasa was immeasurably high that he could convey his thoughts and get Swamy's thoughts through telepathy. Swamy could understand the spiritual level of Maharaja but the ordinary people failed till date to understand.

ഇതു വരെ ചിൻ മുദ്ര എന്താണ് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞില്ല. അറിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ please refer the book. പലതിലും പല രീതിയിൽ പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. അതിൽ ഏതാണ് ശരി എന്നുള്ളത് യുക്തി അനുസരിച്ചു കണ്ടു പിടിക്കൂ. ശരി ആയതു ഒന്നു മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ. നാം പറഞ്ഞാൽ "അതിന് വില കാണില്ല ". അതു കൊണ്ട് അറിവില്ലാത്തവർ സ്വന്തം ആയി കണ്ടു പിടിക്കൂ.

By the by, you say Poojya Chattambi Swami came to know only very late that it was Vivekananda who visited him him. What prevented Vivekananda from revealing his identity to the Keralite sage? Vivekananda's invention that "proceeding further to south the quality of kings is seen diminishing" is childish, totally baseless and funny, like many theories of this beef-eater sanyasi. Obviously the Bengali wandering monk had not heard about the valiant, wise and Dharmic kings of South India. Or was he conveniently hiding that knowledge for finding fault with kings who did not respect him much? Hindus with four grains of commonsense should recognise the silly nature of "godmen" like Vivekananda who had little to do with pristine sacred Hindu Dharma. What Vivekananda was propagating was in essence a guru cult. Why, millions of morons even in our own "enlightened" age claim a pucca land-grabbing, commercial expert to be "Sadhguru" and another white-clad double "ahreekaram" as "Gurudev"! Many "great men" are great because we are on our knees, let us stand on our feet.

The name Vivekananda became popular after his US trip an year after Kerala visit. His sanyasa name was Vidhishananda. He may have told this name to Chattambi Swami . Or his original name Narendranth.

And the name was "Vividishananda" as far as I know, not "Vidhishananda". Vivekananda took great pains for fixing a "suitable" name for him. To a "sanyasi" for whom all religions are okay, all edibles are okay, why some particular name is not okay and a certain name alone is okay, is not that much OKAY for ordinary people.

The problem is that most guru cults started in Hindu society ever after the coming of proselitizing padris, with the support of Government since the British hegemony, had one aim -- to reduce the traditional Hindu Deities to a state of neglect. For this, the easiest and viable method was to promote some human guru as God. The concept of avatars in Hinduism is a great helping factor in this regard. Vivekananda's Ramakrishna cult is a typical example of this. Vivekananda was made a tool by Christian crooks to establish a basic position that all religions are one and equal. This baseless "oneness of religions" is the cardinal premise which Vivekananda proclaimed at Chicago. The day when Professor William Hasty introduced the name of the priest at Dakshineswar, to the culmination of the English scheme in Vivekananda's Chicago Address were all parts of a well-knit plan. The aim was to accord to Christianity (which was nothing more than an expansionist device for mere mundane purposes of padris and their ilk) as a "religion" on a par with the sacred Indian religions, led by Hindu Dharma. As a result of the innocence and folly of Hindus that plan succeeded to a very large extent. This is the main point of my opposition to Vivekananda and his dubious cult. Secondly, Vivekananda had no attachment to Hindu Dharma or Hindu society. Hindu scriptures are a treasure-house of knowledge, and therefore he merely used them to be the foundation of his pseudo-intellectual exercises. Nothing more. The sooner Hindus recognise this, the better for Hindu society. But there is hardly any sign of rational thinking among even the so-called educated ones among Hindus, yet.
