This is bloody ridiculous. Viv is amongst the best female players in the world. Why on earth would you not give her another contract? What does this do to team morale? How does this affect the Miedema / Mead relationship? If as expected she does just walk into City on a free, it will be an unmitigated disaster on Arsenal’s part. If I ever get wind of Eidevall being at the centre of this decision, I will demand he leaves to his face at Boreham Wood. He’s on my list anyhow for this disastrous season - losing to minor teams in both the CL and the WSL is Simply unacceptable. And winning the conti cup two years in a row doesn’t cut it for me. If it is true we did not offer Viv a new contract, then I’m afraid I must review whether or not I choose to renew my WSL season ticket - I find it both ridiculous and disgusting that this has happened. Shame on you, Arsenal.
