The beach scenes are definitely not any San Francisco beach and certainly not Ocean Beach. The other city scenes are probably Los Angeles the reason being that San Franciscans don't dress that lightly with summer dresses and short sleeve shirts because of the morning and evening fog. This is a strange conglomeration of images that show 1940s California but the title is misleading.

Not every scene is shot in San Francisco. 0:00 That is definitely not the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. That is the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia. 0:50 There was never a Bank of Hollywood in San Francisco *1:08** This is the first real shot in San Francisco at Powell/Eddy/Market.* 1:43 These buildings appear to be in Los Angeles. 2:02 This is the Desmonds Building on Wilshire Blvd. and S. Burnside Ave. in Los Angeles 2:26 Phelps-Terkel was a Los Angeles based department store. It was never in San Francisco. 2:32 The Santa Monica Professional Building is at 710 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica. 2:50 Downtown San Francisco has many hills. This shot is flat land. It appears to be in Los Angeles. *3:54** San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf at Taylor St. and Jefferson St. A. That first scene is definitely NOT San Francisco. That bridge is one that doesn't exist here. And a lot of scenes are from Los Angeles which is another California coastal city, but looks very different than SF. This video is more of a "Californian Life in the 40s"

There were a lot of clips of non-SF places. Fisherman’s Wharf and a few scenes of cars on the hills and cable car were real. Other than that maybe the scenes were of a SF in an alternate universe.

It’s because society was well behaved, and people were happy for the most part everybody had a good job there was work for everyone, people could pay rent. People could buy food they could buy close. Children were happy. Families were doing well. You didn’t have crazy Karen’s in stores, screaming and spitting on people. People using profanity. The whole society is upside down and on its way out. I wish I could’ve been around in the 40s!

The theory of evolution has stripped man of his dignity. Rather than being made in the image of God, many now believe we formed in a pool of slime and descended from apes. That the universe "popped out of nothing". Many of us now act like apes and have no moral code. This nonsensical theory has made a monkey out of humanity. And it's totally untrue. We didn't come accidentally from "nothing" and we do have a designer. And we are made in his image. Dignity should be put back on the table and we should start to behave like human beings made in the image of God. In the 1940's everyone still believed they had purpose, that they were made in God's image, they acted like there was someone they were accountable to, they were grateful to their Creator and most were happy with life.
@LukeLovesRose Жыл бұрын
@@cosy1914 Exactly. By making the average person feel like they're nothing more than a progressive form of slime stops them from really dreaming and making something better of themselves. This is perfect for the Freemason globalists trying to take over our lives
