I'm an old buddy, I saw their debut stage (Gfriend) and loved it, so my first image of Umji was that cute girl, still a kid in her early-mid teens, but I'm not one to infantilize her now. Umji now is a grown up woman, still cute at her own way but not a baby at any means! And even tho I know for sure that she is an adult, it is still shocking sometimes to face it, at least for me (but I'm so happy for her, to see her new confident alluring energy is such a bless for all buddies and Navis)

Wait until you find out about Gfriend (Previous Viviz group), they're known of Queen of synchronization in Kpop and known as one of the GG who always have the best vocal and harmonies in all their songs. Their vocal is like an ear pleasing and blessings to your ear. You should listen to all Viviz album from their debut until now. They've so many good bside tracks with different genre

The song is on the surface about how loving someone dearly is sometimes hard and can feel unpredictable and stormy at times but like a maniac love you still come back even stronger. But there is an underlying story line in the video which makes this so emotional Umji said. It portrays the group splitting up (like GFriend) and the pain and loneliness they then felt before they came back together and were never happier than then. Eunha is shown bored in an office reminiscing over.playing a piano (which she did in the GFriend song Sunrise) with her music career seemingly over whilst SinB looks lost and lonely by the window after she smashes the guitar. Umji leaves with her suitcase after GFriend were broken up by Source Music with just 4 days notice to fans and they all had to immediately leave the dorm where they had lived together for 7 years. But she threw away the suitcase to show she didn’t want to leave and rejoined the other 2 members just as they did in real life 5 months after GFriend was forcibly disbanded. But all the GFriend members deny that they are disbanded and say that they are pursuing their individual projects for now. Maybe Umji knows that the OT6 reunion is coming up in the next few months and that is why she was so emotional. The final message in the video when they are all so happy when reunited and taking selfies together just like the old days may be a clue for all 6 not just VIVIZ reuniting.

Beyoncé’s choreographer Kany produced these two great routines for Maniac and Untie which is why they are so sexy and sassy. She said that it was a joy to work with them as they were so talented and with personality like angels. So humble still after 9 years of success in the Kpop industry which is why everyone who meets them in person cannot help but love them.

I appreciated your reaction, I can relate! They’ve got such a wholesome quality to their songs, warm and feelgood. Their voices are all on the higher pitch, but they are so playful with it, and the production are so good at complimenting the vocals and their range. Also love how they are not afraid to try different ideas. Their songs always have this interesting, rich production that drew me into kpop but without feeling overproduced or too random. Great group! You should check out Gfriend if you havent already, its their former group, and they have a great melodic sound with similar range in voices.

Also, you probably saw this a lot on your other Viviz reaction, but these 3 girls are all former members of the 6 member group Gfriend (2015-2021). Gfriend was under Source Music, which was acquired by HYBE in 2020 I hope you get a chance to react to Gfriend too. If you do I totally recommend Mago, Apple, and Time for the Moon Night. Up 2 Me was kinda the Gfriend-sounding song of this album

If you like UP2ME please listen to their old songs from Gfriend era! It's their signature sound in debut era Gfriend - LOL / Under The Sky / Luv Star Maniac is talking about acknowledge a love that is "maniac" and becoming okay with it Untie is basically "go touch grass" - being all tie to social media and wanting like and then being set free/untie by the end of the song!

I loved your reaction and would love to see you reacting to more of them and the group GFriend that they still regard themselves to be part of and will reunite back together as OT6 one day. VIVIZ are like chameleons as they can explore new sounds and concepts and still sound unmistakably them and can pull off any concept. I fully expect the next comeback to shock us all yet again and set the high bar even higher. Their visuals, vocals, music production and dancing is all top tier.

when he was still a gfriend, eunha was the last member to enter the group. He is almost the main vocalist in the group because he has a sweet high note voice. However, the main vocal is filled by Yuju who has a power high note. So, you should listen to Yuju's songs, if you like high note style I recommend Yuju - Dreaming (side album from (O)). or gfriend - windy windy(side gfriend summer album) . or if you want to see both (power high note (yuju) and sweet note (eunha), you can check gfriend - flower, gfriend - night drive (bside gfriend walpurgis night). well almost all gfriend songs have high notes in them. when Viviz released Untie, fans were very excited because the vibe they brought was different from the Gfriend vibe.

I think you’ll like the album that Pull Up was on too (Various) They’re other title tracks, Bop Bop and Loveade are on the cuter side (mostly Loveade). But their b-sides vary a bit.

With regards to pronouncing their group name, Vee Veez is fine, although their korean name is pronounced bibiji. There are some who insist that the English name should be pronounced Vee Vee Zee but I believe Vee Veez, Vee Vee Zee or Bi Bi Ji are all valid. Member names wise, Eunha is 'Uhn Hah' (real name Jung Eunbi) Sinbi is 'Shin Bee' (real name Hwang Eunbi) Umji is 'Eom Jee' (real name Kim Yewon) Fun fact, 'Bibiji' is formed by combining the last syllables of the 2 Eunbi's with the 'Ji' from Umji.
