Got it working for most apps but it doesn't seem to work for Google Messages. Also they seem to all clear away once i unlock the phone, is there any way to get them to stay until the actual notification gets cleared?

I have a question about AOD but not the notifications. In the past I have had Vivo's CN version phones that uses originos 3 and in the AOD options in themes app I can see and download or purchase additional AOD's, but on my newest Vivo x fold 3 pro which uses the same OS version as the X100 pro. However the option for purchase additional AOD in themes is not there, all I see is Themes, Fonts, wallpaper, live wallpaper, ringtones and input method. What about yours? Do you still get that option? Thanks

Hey LL, a huge 1.1GB firmware update for the CN Vivo X100 Pro was released today on 17.05.2024 with lots of camera improvements, including its zoom, white balance/colours and video performance. It's v14.0.22.6.W10 - are you going to check if you're able to update to it too and consider a review of the changes?

@@lltechview Yes, the timing of this huge update logically makes sense as the Vivo X100 Ultra was just released so I guess they want to ensure the Pro isn't left behind. Zoom performance has improved massively despite it already being one of the best (top 3 in my opinon). Users on Chinese social media have lots of positive feedback about this update.

@@lltechview Users started reporting this update on CN social media on 15.05.2024 and I received it this morning under the trial version update (I'm based in EU, 16GB RAM /512GB model). You might receive it over this weekend or even later today - it's working great so far. The video zoom is even better, I didn't think it could get any smoother and more responsive.

Do you know how to make Android Auto work on Vivo X100 Pro? For me the most fatal flaw of X100 Pro origin os is Android Auto. I can't connect my car with this phone. Otherwise this is a great phone. Specially the camera is great.

Its a precaution for chinese apps as they in the past at least used to spam the user like crazy with messages. So Oppo and others limited the AOD apps. I personally would live another solution allowing the user to choose which apps are allowed to appear there. Even if it will by default block all apps besides the 5 they want to allow by default

I used MIUI for years and this Always On Notification Symbols were just Natural.The x100ultra is my first Origin OS experience and it sucks that i have now to tap the Screen to Check for Messages.Not even a notification LED on this ULTRA Phone.

Can somebody please write here the correct command lines for Windows-Terminal? I can connect with ".\adb devices" but after that, nothing works and I am not sure what the correct command line is? Thanks in advance //edit: Got it running :) If you check the values under SedEdit, it shows you the correct syntax what you can use for the command line. In my case "adb shell pm grant by4a.setedit22 android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS" . I used ADB AppControl and then the console to run the command
