Yea, because Essential was launched...unfinished, lets say and that prevented it from taking off. It had underwhelming camera performance, the add-on market seemed half baked and many people just werent convinced that the phone is worth their money. But from design perspective only it still is The Phone. And if we are talking people not interested in tech when they see a cool smartphone and ask what it is and you say:It looks a lot like Essential, doesnt it?" they just dont care. Wtf is Essential? But if you say it looks a lot like iPhone, they know and they get interested and maybe even buy one, because it will be cheaper and in their eyes equeally good. At least to me, this seems logical as Apple in some way is still the trendsetter in this market.

The Theeser, Apple being the "trendsetter" is the reason pushing for hate against Apple is a good thing. because Apple is a horrible trend to follow. they are just making things worse every time they change something. but people don't care and just buy it 'cuz its Apple' Christian Joel Cabrera, the essential phone is not a good blueprint. it has a notch! PHONES SHOULD NOT HAVE A FUCKING NOTCH!!! LG V10 and V20 had a good notch, since it was at the side and did not hide the notification bar

To be fair, this is a phone for those, who don't want to/can't spend this much money. Don't get me wrong, the nex s is still cheaper and more amazing than many other flagships, but 780 euros was quite a hard decision to make (spoiler: It was worth it). In my opinion, the v11 seems like a cheaper nex s, but in a good way

Been using this phone since Nov 2018. The battery still lasts a whole day with simple basic functions like calling, messaging, a few photos and some youtube videos. since in quarantine, i have been using it tad bit much and started to notice the battery drains too much too fast. The dual engine fast charging is a blessing as i can have a full charge in less than 2 hours. Camera is still epic and captures amazing landscape pictures. theres no more updates for android, so that sucks. overall still amazing phone. oh and i bought this phone for GBP 275/INR 25,000/-, worth every single rupee.
