Same here. Using Mate 20X. The 130 cm square screen real estate is still unmatched. This Vivo is only 121 cm. I'm not a fan of foldable (yet!)

Why won't Huawei make a successor to the mate 20 X 5g? It's such a brilliant phone, have been waiting to replace mine but nothing comes close to this beast. Am considering the Vivo X note, as many Huawei 20 X users are I guess.

Unfortunately these companies never stick to the same formula, no matter how good it is. Like, the OnePlus 7 Pro had such a good implementation of a notch/hole-free display, and yet they ditched the popup camera ever since.

Full Review!! Let's go! Edit: after watching this video, I think I'll just keep my Mate 20x and buy a Red Magic 7 instead for games. Vivo should've added a headphone jack and optimised gaming performance on this phone and give it an updated camera. Oh well.

I was fortunate enough to have a work shop in Australia, Brisbane CBD that actually deals with Huawei phones despite the Mate 20x not being native to Australian retailers. But it takes ages for parts to come in as they have to order them from China. They were the only shop in Brisbane that could work on my phone. I just had my USB C port replaced last December as the phone had charging issues (I work in construction so a lot of water and dust around. Nature of the job). Maybe you can find a repair shop in your local city?

According to the information on the official website. support 2 SIM card, and only support Wifi 6.

Thank you for your honest review! There's few phablets anymore, so it has a unique position. But they need to get the right pieces tailored for the large phone. A large battery to accommodate, gestures suited for large displays, and it could have loyal fans!

While the dynamic range on the Vivo's cameras are very good, there's something about the processing that looks a bit artificial and strange. Hopefully it's still on early software and it can be tweaked with an update

"Such a big phone, with a small battery" 🤦🏻‍♂️ Dude, the Mate 20X had a 7.2 inch screen and the battery was the same capacity, 5000 mah and it didn't even have Huawei's 40W Super Charge. Aside from that it had flagship specs, same cameras and processors as the Mate 20 Pro. Yet I love that phone and still use it as my daily driver.

Dissapointed there's no vivo x note 2, i need tsmc chipset not samsung fab..battery life would be improved..no alternative large phone for me as for now except the more expensive s23u :(

I have the same phone as you and I absolutely love this phone! Did you buy the Vivo X Note in the end? I am thinking of buying this Vivo phone as it is a similar size to the Mate 20 X, but in my opinion a better screen with it's QHD Amoled display. The only downside with this Vivo phone is no headphone jack.

Nope, I didnt buy it. In Spain doesn't have all the internet bands. Sooo.... I bought the honor magic 5 pro. It's smaller but it works well. This year Apple and Samsung are bringing 6,9" displays. So I think for the next year we'll have bigger displays. My guess☺️

It will be great if that is the case, however their prices for their flagship phones are ridiculously expensive! I was in the phone shop a few weeks ago, and I placed my Mate 20X next to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and my phone makes the Samsung phone look tiny 😂!!

it uses a vivo proprietary charging system and with the included brick it can do 66w, i think. its very fast on my x70pp. but the fact that its not compatible and i cant use my usbc bricks with it is insanely maddening.
