I already know the ultra is much better, because when I watched the comparison between Vivo X100 PRO and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Xiaomi was better, even at night. But a new video just came out (search for "Vivo X100 Ultra vs Xiaomi 14 Ultra Detailed Camera Comparison!"), and you can see that the Vivo wins VERY easily. Best "photophone" of 2024, and it's going to be hard to top it.

Excellent review. Good job 👍 To have owned on this year, the Vivo X100 Pro, Oppo X7 Ultra, Honor Magic 6 Pro and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, I have to admit that the X100 Ultra is the king for photos. I bought it on last week, and I'm amazed by the quality of photos. The Vivo X100 ULtra is the best smartphone (for photos) of 2024. I even prefer Origin OS to FunTouch OS. It is easy to install the Play store and it works well. I really love my X100 Ultra

​@@staffik84 The battery life on my Vivo X100 Ultra is better than the X100 Pro, thanks to a biger battery (5500 vs 5400 mAh) and Snap 8 gen 3. The technology is si-c instead of li-ion, as well. The Vivo X100 Ultra is similar to the Magic 6 Pro (same silium/carbon battery technology)

If you are looking for the best camera Vivo x100 ultra is the winner in a large margin. Vivo x100 ultra battery will last up to 15 hours of hard core gaming, taking pictures and videos all day. The only problem of buying x100 ultra that is made only for Chinese people if if your phone encounter a hardware problem like lcd panel replacement and other hardware component , there is no way for you to fix it, since its not release globally there will no parts available in your country. But if you love to take pictures and videos go for vivo x100 pro or x100 ultra.

I'm just a little sad because it seems to me that at night the VIVO X100 PRO will always be better at night than the VIVO x100 ULTRA. It must have something that as to do with the sensor and if so, firmware updates will not be able to fix the problem. Does anyone knows more about this topic? What are your opinions?

As a Vivox100pro user of funtouch OS...when I switch to a different app the brightness all of a sudden increase and it hurts my eyes . And the grid lines in the camera when taking a photo ...the lines are so faint ..hard to see in daylight scenes .. another downside is ...the images file size of raw mode..is very low ..it seems compared to iphone and Samsung...vivo does not generate a large file size image ..

One of the best camera!!!! just insane no doubt! but what takes the cake for me is the smooth transitions between lenses. This has been the main drawbacks for android phones. They finally was able to fix it!

I am really happy with how much network reception I get on this x100ultra phone!! When I was using my Samsung S22U and I am at my dad's house, or even my house, I would get maybe 2 bars of 4g network. At my dad's house I might even get 1 bar of network (I am with Telstra, the best Telecom in Australia) But on the x100u, I get 5 full 5g reception! What the hell! My dad lives in a semi country area and I thought Telstra installed a new tower somewhere, hence why I got 5g. I freaking love this phone just from that alone! 😂 I don't know why Samsung phones have bad network reception... I'm never going back to Samsung again. Also the camera is really nice and fast!!! No shutter lag here like the Samsung.

If you don't mind install accubattery and use the phone normally for 2 days and tell me the stats from average battery usage and screen OFF estimates . Make sure sleep optimization is DISABLED otherwise the phone is a brick at night that doesn't even receive notifications so it doesn't count.

I'm pretty sure MrWhostheboss or somebody said earlier this year that the S24 Ultra has bad reception. I can't remember who said it and I was like so it's not just my Telcom, it's freaking Samsung lol. I work away in the Mines where there is bad reception and I'm heading back there this coming Monday so I'm keen to see how good this phone is there. Watching YT there is a nightmare lol.

*S24 was never the best at anything besides having a stylus. DXOmark camera, battery life RLU, Antutu 10 + Geekbench 6 average, you name it. Other androids have better performance in either of the aforementioned results and are way cheaper too. iPhone 15 has iOS and other people prefer it over android so it doesn't really count. Only ones buying scamsung these days are the ones that don't know there are way better phones out there and are just fooled by the brand name.*

Single core normal Multi 6200 Phone was always in normal temperature.. I had same problem with Oppo X7 ultra..I don't know how I manage in the end to have 6500 Thank you for your comment.. I'm sure Vivo got the potential to go better compare to X7 ultra. Think about mine Vivo X100 ultra got factory date of 15 of may ... Right now I can tell you that the battery of Vivo X100 Ultra is one of the best. Display I go for Vivo and also speakers.. About microphone not sure which one is better, both doing great.. The X100 Ultra is a small step up from the X100 Pro but this phone is way better than the Xiaomi 14 Ultra (it's main competitor) from image stability from shot after shot after shot, brighter & much improved quality comparing to Leica where you need to be a true photographer to "cApTUre tHE MoMeNt" or you will get hazy days everyday or so 😂 but there is still human focusing issue due. to AI detecting need to be fixed in the next software update.
